When a Muslim say that Jesus(PBUH) or any other Prophet was a Muslim, they say that because a Muslim is one who submits his will to do the will of Allaah(GOD). What is a prophet anyway? Is it not one who submits? All of you who answered that Muslims and Islam came years after Jesus, you are right. But look at the meaning of Muslim and not what you all hate and think of when you hear the word Muslim.

Jesus was Jewish, as were Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Sarah, and all Biblical prophets.
Muslims hijacked both Judaism and Christianity, put their own spin on them, and then declared them null and void!
According to Islam, since their religion came last and 'includes' both Jewish and Christian elements, it makes Judaism and Christianity unnecessary. This is why they believe their is the superior religion (replace religion by race and you have Hitler).
This is also why Muslims have been putting up mosques on other religions' holy sites, synagogues, and churches. Even the site where the holy Temple in Jerusalem stood now has a mosque on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And finally; how can Moses, Abraham, Jesus, and others be Muslim when Islam did not exist in those days???????????

Here's why Jesus couldn't have been a Muslim: Jesus lived about 2,000 years ago. Islam became a religion in the 7th century AD. Logically, one cannot be a member of a religion before it is created.
Muslim rationale: Though I am not a Muslim, I have done research on topics relating to Islam and there are some ideas that I hear from many different sources. The relevant idea that I have heard from Muslims is the concept that all people are born Muslim. It's a weird concept and I don't agree with it, but here's a website that explains the Muslim perspective: http://www.islam101.com/dawah/newBorn.htm.

Mohamed came way after all the others. Islam came quite a bit after Judaism and even Christianity. All said above were Jews.
How could any of them say Jesus was a Muslim if it didn't exist yet. Judaism is the religion of Abraham and Jacob. Jesus and John were born Jews. Christianity actually comes after the death of Christ or his exit from earth. Christianity means follower of Christ. There statement is ignorant and shows there lack of knowledge of their own Religion. Or else it is Propaganda.

Abraham was to have a son with his wife. He was getting old so the wife told him to sleep with the maid. He had a son called Ishmael. Then he had a son with his wife called Issac. Muslims believe Ishmael is the firstborn and his heritage is the lineage of God but Jews believe Isaac although born second was the true lineage of God because he was had with the wife and not the maid. The descendants of the two parties is where the Jews and Muslims come from hence the animosity over the land rights. The Jews are right though because the Messiah was in fact born in their lineage even though they missed it and are still waiting for their messiah...Jesus was certainly not a Muslim.

It doesn't matter what they say.People will always try to twist things to suit themselves.
The important thing is what does God's Holy Word, the Bible say?
The Bible shows us clearly the lineage of those mentioned. The word 'muslim' is not even mentioned in the Bible.
Jehovah is the God of the Bible. He is Almightly. He is the only true God.
And of course,Jesus Christ was not a muslim. As a Jew,Jesus was under the Mosiac Law.It was Christ who introduced Christianity, not Islam!

no he is not .........
here you go :
Jesus (8–2 BC/BCE to 29–36 AD/CE),[1] also known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity. He is commonly referred to as Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a title derived from the Greek christós (Greek Alphabet Χριστός), meaning the "Anointed One", which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah". The name "Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek Iesous, itself believed to be a transliteration of the Hebrew Yehoshua or Aramaic Yeshua, meaning "YHWH is salvation".[2]
The main sources of information regarding Jesus' life and teachings are the four canonical Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Most scholars in the fields of history and biblical studies agree that Jesus was a Jewish teacher from Galilee, who was regarded as a healer, was baptized by John the Baptist, and was crucified in Jerusalem on orders of the Roman Governor Pontius Pilate under the accusation of sedition against the Roman Empire.[3][4] A very small number of scholars and authors question the historical existence of Jesus, with some arguing for a completely mythological Jesus.[5]
Christian views of Jesus (see also Christology) center on the belief that Jesus is the Messiah as promised in the Old Testament and that he was resurrected after he died on a cross. Christians predominantly believe Jesus is God the Son who became incarnate to provide salvation and to reconcile humanity with God by atoning for the sins of humanity by his death. Nontrinitarian Christians profess various other interpretations regarding his divinity and humanity (see below). Other common Christian beliefs include his Virgin Birth, miracles, fulfillment of biblical prophecy, ascension into Heaven, and future Second Coming.
In Islam, Jesus (Arabic Isa) is considered one of Allah's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, and also the Messiah. Muslims, however, do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or divinity of Jesus. Islam teaches that Jesus was raised bodily to heaven. Most Muslims believe that Jesus will return to the earth as Messiah in the company of the Mahdi once the earth has become full of sin and injustice.

Jesus Christ was Jewish and born in Bethlehem.
He is the Lord and Savior.
Muslims accept the fact that Jesus was only a good teacher but they never would include Jesus as a muslim.
Where on Earth did you get this crazy idea?

Hell NO !
christianity was jewish with eastern influences.
Jesus is described as being the First ONE to meet strangers and learn new ideas from strangers that by his neighborhood.
Islam hates christianity so what they do is Hijack the christian beliefs and then turn them around to say what they want to believe
I cant condemn them for this because jesus is a major prophet, he was the son of God.!!
and Everyone wants to own Jesus for their own political/religious beliefs.
If islam produces True faith, and good fruit on their trees for the taste of righteousness. the taliban and alquiada dont show me that their fruit tastes bountiful.
