Because illegals enter our country with a complete disrespect of our laws and suck up our resources. For instance, lots of hospitals and emergency rooms have had to shut down after being swamped by illegals who get health care and never pay their bills. And the cost of educating illegals and their offspring in public education is in the billions of dollars.

I do not hate illegals. Hate is a very strong word. I preferr the word dislike. Why do I dislike Illegals? Maybe its because numerous hospitals have shut down because illegal immigrants go to them for health services, and then disappear when it comes time to pay the bill, forcing the hospital to shut down, and forcing legal citizens to go elsewhere for care that used to be a few minutes away.

And what about our education system? Officially dumbed down to help the illegal immigrants keep up. Not to mention the millions of dollars spent on ESL classes that illegals fight to have their kids stay out of. I used to work at a school and I watched numerous times as parents admitted that they were illegal, and that their child spoke no english (note, this was all stated through an interpretor of the school). But that their child did not need ESL classes.

Lets not forget car accidents on the street. Illegals driving with no insurance, then they drive recklessly, get into a car accident with a legal citizen, injuring them badly, and then running away.

Then there is the fact that legal hardworking citizens/immigrants are constantly losing their jobs to illegal immigrants because corporations have figured out that they could use illegal immigrant labor for cheap. Then, the wages are lowered so far down that the legal citizen can't afford to support their family.

Need I go on?

I don't think it's a thing so much of "hate," as frustration. Many of us can't get even basic medical coverage, yet illegals seem to get whatever medical care they need from the "system." They also manage to find ways to get other benefits (yet, it is our tax money which pays for these benefits). Also, they don't pay taxes to help the system provide them with what they are getting. Now, some states want to give them driver's licenses (they're not even supposed to be here, yet they should be licensed to drive?). There are many reasons, but it is a debate which will continue until the end of things as we know them.....and it will never be resolved. I still think it's more frustration than "hate."

It's not only United States, I think any country hates illegals.
Mexico hates illegals more than the US.
You should see how they treat illegal immigrants there.

Initially because as soon as they set foot on American soil, they have broken the law. After that it is all downhill. Yes most of them do take the low paying menial jobs that Americans don't want to do. However these people, for the most part do not want to become part of the American culture, they just want to take whatever they can, and leave with it. By taking our money and our benefits, back to where they came from, they then become like the people that drove them to sneak into our country. They become petty despots, in their own right.

I don't HATE illegals.

But I am 100% in support of deporting illegals and securing our borders.

Why?

Why should my tax dollars have to pay for an illegals education and medical care?

Why should I have to pay for police protection from someone who should have NEVER even been in this country?

Why should Americans have to compete with illegals because employers are to CHEAP to pay a good living wage to its workers?

etc. etc. etc.

That's why

It isn't that we are scared of "illegals" or the better term illegal immigrants, we just have a problem with them coming into our country illegally, which is not entering by customs.

Illegal immigrants are a tremendous burden on our country. Given some of our "socialistic" laws, they are able to obtain of government assistance such as health care and education plus financial assistance without ever contributing, paying taxes. These structures are (and were initially) setup to assist those who due to bad luck or poor circumstances were unable to provide it for themselves. These illegal immigrants see it as a free meal that never ends.

The rest of the society, taxpayers, have to pay for this service for the rest of the group. When you have an illegal immigrant using false documents, they are obtaining of these services without contributing to the tax base. As a taxpaying, law abiding citizen, I am upset that they can use my tax dollars without ever contributing back to our society and taking it away from someone who is more in need of it.

Do I mind an immigrant that comes to this country on the right documentation and working, no. Do I have an issue with an immigrant coming to this country, never working, and taking my tax dollars to support themselves, yes.

Well, you see, they're afraid of them 'taking over jobs.' Unfortunately, people don't realise that they're an important part of the US economy at this point. It's also a good rallying point for conservatives, they can attempt to instill naitonalism on the American people and win another election. It puts people in a state of fear, and it gives the government a chance to up the amount of power it can abuse -- and still get away with. Quite frankly, all nations should use an open border policy, since economic globalization is inevitable anyways. We must simply shape it to serve the working class and the people rather than multinational corporations.

"HATE" is a very strong word here. Ameircans dislike people in general who are deceitful and try to live freely in a land that many of our forefathers died for. We would have alot more respect for foreigners if they went through the proper channels to become American, and then worked their way to a better life.

Because down here in Alabama, they're literally taking over. They don't know how to drive and they are bringing Illegal drugs over here and selling them. We almost came to civil war in Northeast Alabama cause they protested and stuff when we were shipping them back to their own countries. They have really caused a lot of trouble.
