You may need to wear a splint with the wrist kept in dorsiflexion and the forearm supinated (as if you were carrying a bowl of soup), plus daily heat or diathermy to increase blood flow to the area, then ice to bring down the swelling. Such therapy may be required for 4 to 6 weeks. Also, anti-inflamatory drugs (corticosteroids such as prednisolone or hydrocortisone) can be injected into the space between the tendon and the sheath.

I had a cortisone shot 5 weeks ago, my elbow felt fine for 3 weeks but then my elbow pain came roaring back worse than before the injection. I have been using this tennis elbow secrets program now for 5 days and my elbow feels much better. I can really feel my arm getting stronger as each day passes.

I had tennis elbow for 15 months and then had an operation to relieve the muscles and then still had the pain for another 3 months and now it is settled thankfully for 3 months.
I was on Co-Dydronol for pain. Also over the 21 months, I had 3 Cortisone injections and they did not relieve the pain either.

do you have the arm band ? this is placed above your elbow in a certain place. It is a wrap but it has a hard piece of plastic inside to put pressure on your arm. If not go to the doctors and see if you can get one. It helped me alot but did not solve the whole problem. I ended up getting a steriod shot.

you will have to go to the doctors he will give you an injection of anti cortisone this has a mild painkiller in it so initially it wont hurt much but when it wears off it will hurt like hell for a day only then youll be right as rain.

Consider Botox!
Works a pain reliever and stops the burning from the muscle spasm.
Get small doses, so it doesn't weaken the area too much.
Worked for me!

begin with the basics - rest, ice, anti inflammatry medicines and massage. if the pain returns? becomes more intense get cortisol injections from yur doctor, accupuncture, pysiotherapy. Surgery should obly be considered as a last resort. Hope this helps and it gets better soon : )
