This war is even worse than Vietnam. It is pure venal greed for oil. How convenient that a new "bogeyman" has risen in the shape of Islamic Fundamentalism. So Saddam was an evil dictator.. America hasn't overthrown other of like ilk. Instead have supported them either blatantly or tacitly. The horrendous loss of life for what? Money? Ego? Add sycophants like John Howard who continue to blindly support this travesty and tragedy. What is the result? Disaster! None of us should have ever gone there and now what a mess it is. Is the world safer? No way! It has inflamed the fires of terrorism and spread this malignant tumour. And the behaviour in Gautamano Bay? No better than those we espouse to be morally superior to. Disgraceful!

It was a good cause; we went in, obliterated their Army, took over the country, started a new government, and took down their leader. Mission accomplished, now we need to leave.

BTW- Thats 3,000 dead not 15,000; you cant beleive everything a Liberal writes on the Internet.

We need a draft with the appropriate deferrments for the more important people, then we need to expand the war to ensure OUR President Bush's legacy as War Leader. Then we will move forward to Victory. Hard work will set you free. President Bush is Victory. It does not matter how many of the unimportant we sacrifice, President Bush is worth far more than any number we can sacrifice. ONLY President Bush can lead us to victory since he IS Victory. If we are still in Iraq in 2008 and President Bush has not been declared President for life.... WE WILL LOSE.

It was a war we shouldn't have gotten into, but since we are there we need to stick around and keep stability. If we don't Iran and Syria will carve it into two pieces.
