tells us he likes us,
we love it
or
hate it bcz it stops the chase.

What makes someone succesful at telling another they like them but without putting them off??

I find it a bit of a mystery, as i know it happens with me too!!

We love it when a guy tells us he likes us because it's flattering. But you are right, if we are not interested, and we were essentially just in it for game-playing, then yes, it's stops the chase. But if it stops the chase, then you truly were not interested in it for him, but really for the fun of the game.

Someone would be successful at telling someone they like them, if they first tried flirting with them, or testing the waters, and if the other person was receptive and you felt that they felt the same way, then you could possibly ask them for a coffee. Coffee could be just for friends, so you're not really putting yourself that out there and it's safe.

I find the question(s) confusing. Maybe ur over-analysing too much! But if you want a simple answer - the fun is in the chase. Just like the fun is in opening the Christmas present. So don't just stare at the wrapping - rip it open...but be mindful of the fact that it might just end up being another pair of boring socks!

I think i know what ur saying. But i dunno why you should hate it. Seriously. Being liked should only make u flattered, no matter who says it. What makes them succesful i guess is how they tell people they like them. You cant be too dramatic about it or anything, y'know?
