Don't EVER wear your shoes without socks. If you do it even once, the bacteria from your feet infest the shoe and live there forever after, causing the smell. You may be able to neutralize or kill them with Odor Eaters, but I think they always come back. If you wear ankle socks, maybe some sweat from your leg is running down into the shoe and being absorbed, so try longer socks. Also, don't ever wear your socks inside out after you've worn them. Stick with cotton socks because they breathe best. Polyester, wool and nylon look nice but certainly make your feet sweat more.

This really works! Just spray your feet with any type of aerosol deodorant any time you put on shoes or socks. Your feet may still sweat a tiny bit, but they will never smell. I've saved tons of pairs of shoes by doing this because my feet used to perspire a lot. They still perspire a little when it's hot out or I'm nervous, but they never, ever smell bad! I use cheap Suave $3 bottles and it only takes a few seconds and I'm out the door.
*Cheaper than Odor Eaters
*Less messy than baking soda
*Less time consuming than the other suggestions
*You don't have to rotate any shoes, you can always wear whichever ones you want

The best thing to do is to switch off with different pairs of shoes so you don't wear the same pair two days in a row and this way you let it air out. If that doesn't help there are sprays such as odor eater that work well.

there are powders you can put into the shoes that are supposed to help with the odor however to avoid it altogether purchase more the one pair of shoes preferably 3 pairs and rotate wearing every third day this gives the shoes a chance to dry if you cant afford three pairs two is still better then one also try to get shoes that are more open this way your feet can breathe

I wash my shoes every half year and they hardly smell. If that doesn't work and you've already failed at using foot odor spray, then I think you should just throw them out. And don't spray deodorant on your feet because after a while the sweat will come out. Since your feet aren't out in the open air and are stuck in a pair of stuffy sneakers, the mixture of deo and sweat is going to stink like hell. Foot odor spray is fine, but just NOT deodorant.

Well my feet had this real bad odor because i had stepped in a puddle. But really the only way to get the smell completly gone is to get new shoes. But for temporary relief put baking soda in ur shoes and put them in a grocery store bag and put them in the freezer over night. Then take them out and let them dry.

Put baking soda in the soles of the shoes and let them sit outside ina breeze for a day or two. Then clean them out (do not put under running water) and they should smell a whole lot better.
