When does someone that you are dating become a 'girlfriend' (or boyfriend) as opposed to someone that you are "seeing"? How many dates does it take?

It should be stated and accepted by both parties. The better question is when do you become free to be yourself again. Some girls don't want to get over a guy after they're interested in someone else....even after he's given her all the signs that he's...

If a guy automatically asks me out after the first date. I must think it is that he l;ikes me and then he asks me if I want to become his boyfriend and I say yes. It is pretty easy for the girl but I would think it is a little more challenging for the guy.
