Remember first and foremost that "the wisdom from above is reasonable or easily entreated. Thus if it does NOT look like a duck, if it does NOT walk like a duck, etc. Well than it is not a duck.

Thus, the concept of a triune God is not only not scripual but is contradicts the Holy Bible.

One really good line of reasoning is the simple fact that Jesus bought back what Adam; whom was perfect, lost. A perfect man for a perfect man(corresponding, propituatory). If Jesus was The most high God, this would not of been possible.

Just read the other answers, this concept can't be reconciled. The few scriptures that are used are taken out of context, an ex: "I and the Father are one") Jesus however requested regarding his disciples that they all be one like we are one."
Same greek word used here, (hen), Don't think that meant for all his followers to be part of a so called triune fest.

The history of the dogma, began around the 4th century is also steeped in false worship. It was never part of pure worship, not by the Isrealite or the early Christians.

Jesus attitude for his Father shows that he was obedient, he wanted his Father's name to be sanctified. His priortity while on earth was to do the will that his Father gave him to do.
Also please see John 5:19, John 14:28; John 10:36; Matt 12:10-12.

Even after Jesus was exalted to heaven, he was still subject to His Father. Please see Phip 2:9; 1Cor 15:28; Mt 20:23; 1 Cor 11:3; Jon 20:17; Re 1:6.

As you can see mixing Christian teaching with Greek Philosophy has done nothing more than dillute God's Word. The result is that it dishonors God, and confuses people turning them away from a God they don't understand.

The Bible never actually says the words trinity at all! The idea of a three part God, or triune God head was, according to the Encylopedia Britannica, developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. By the end of the 4th century the doctrine of the trinity took the form it holds today. The New Catholic Encylopedia says much the same thing, only to add that among the Apostolic fathers there was nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.
My point is this... if it isn't in the Bible, try wrapping your head around the truth that there is only one God, and that is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) and Jesus is His son who gave up heavenly existance to take the form of man and give his perfect life for mankinds sins, and the Holy Spirit is the active force through which God does the work He does.
If this does not anwer your questions, you might try contacting your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and ask them your questions... they will be happy to show you the answers from your own Bible! Good luck, and happy truth hunting!!

Nobody can get their head around it. That is why God gave us the gift of Faith.

Can youget your head around this. You as a person are made up opf three. Body, spirit and intellect.

Now to try to answer your question.
I have to be brief. It is a long and involved question and I am going to give it to you without quoting a lot of Bible verses.

No Jesus did not actually say the word 'Trinity" nor is the word mentioned in the Bible. Nor did he ever say " I am God." but he gave us a lot to add to the other pointers in the Bible about the Trinity and himself.

The trinity and Jesus Divinity is a mystery, which is beyond human explanation, ie how God can be made up of three seperate identities. There are many things in religions, which are beyond human comprehension. Which is why we need faith.

In the first Chapter of the Bible it says, "...and the spirit of God was moving across the waters...." So we know that the spirit of God existed at the beginning.

There can be know doubt about The Father in heaven who is evident throughout the Bible.

Jesus said, of himself "....I came down from heaven...."
So we know that He was there from the beginning too, especially as St Paul says, "...through Him (Jesus) all things were made..." and "....... He ( again Jesus) did not cling to His equality with God.... " Jesus also said "....The Father and I are one...." Then on the occasion when he met his disciples before he ascended to heaven He had the power to breath the Holy Sprit into them.

In the new Testament letters, The Holy Spirit is referred to (twice I think) as the Spirit of Jesus. Which is why we can be sure that "the helper, advocate" that he had the authority to say that he would send, was the Holy Spirit.

The fact that he said that his apostles/disciples should go and baptise "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit ", is just one verse to add to the many others which are the basis of our belief in the Trinity.

I think the verses I have mentioned also show (with others that I can give you if you like) The Divinity of Jesus the rest, as I have said is Faith. Not a popular woprd these days.) I don't know what sort of proof somepeople expect; after all religion is not science!

It doesn't make sense because it is not true.
The Bible does not teach a triune God.The concept of a 'trinity' originates from pagan teachings that were then fused in with apostate Christianity.
The Bible clearly teaches that there is one God.He is Almighty. His name is Jehovah. He has no beginning and will have no end.
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of Jehovah.Jesus was created,he was the first born of all creation. He had a beginning. He is not co equal with His Father.
The Bible does not teach that the Holy Spirit is a person. It is in actual fact,Jehovah God's active force, what he uses to accomplish his purposes.

God the father , Christ the son, holy spirit the mentor or Guide.

if u read the old testament, then u can see from one of the chapters that when Moses went to recieve the ten commandments, he was in the prescence of the lord , and when he came down , his face was bright such that they were totally blind by his brightness. so thay had to put a veil on his face.

imagine if thisis the case of a man with God, then God himself would come down what would be both of our cases

only a man can understand another man's problem. only a man can show how to lead a good life to another man
So God took the form of a man so as to make us understand our sinful ways and redeem us

the holy spirit acts as the GPS for a healthy christian, he guides you and tell you the wrong and dangerous turns of your life

You need all the three to survive

God bless

God's word says he uses the FOOLISH things to confound the WISE. To me, it doesn't make sense either, but God is a lot smarter than us and the spiritual realm is a lot different than the physical realm.

One thing I do know is that when I call upon God the Father, Jesus the Son, or the Holy Spirit, they answer me, guard me, guide me, and protect me. That's enough for me; to have experienced the trinity in such a personal way, it really doesn't matter if God always make sense to our carnal minds.

Huh? I don't even get half these answers here! Maybe we're being deceived by this trinity thing! People will unanimously say 'Jesus is the Son of God'...but then he's also God...what?!?! The whole trinity concept makes me think that people are trying to humanise God...God is one, we'll leave it at that! You don't need to believe in the trinity concept!

As Yoda Green Aptly mentioned, many religions have triune gods. In fact, the use of holy 'three' is most often attributed to the Celts in western history and religion. The Celts were and are obsessed with all things in threes.

Ideas of the 'Trinity' are implicit in some ancient Jewish texts, which the early church fathers would have read and studied. Later Jewish traditions expanded their own ideas about the multi-faceted God, building upon the idea of countless emanations of God. William Blake used this idea in his poems, and modern Kabbalah teachers believe something similar.

All of these ideas are not too different from the two faces of Janus, a Roman pagan God, or the Shiva Family in Hinduism, into which Krishna was born. With all these mythologies, when we try to interprete them literally, they become inherently contradictory. And that leads us to your question, 'How can Jesus be God?'

If we accept that all men are Divine, and that none of us are separated from God, then it becomes very easy to accept that Jesus also is God.

If we insist that we are some sub-species dominated by some unseen power called God, who lives in some distant place in the sky called heaven, then it become tough to see why Jesus gets to be God, but Buddha doesn't.

After all, what is so loveable about a Jewish God who plays favorites with Jesus? Why can't Krishna have a turn at being God, or why does the Holy Spirit have to live in a Dove's body, instead of occasionally getting to transform into something cool like a jaguar or horse? Very confusing, huh?

By the way, reality is not the opposite of mythology. Myths are a system of thinking about the world, which organizes questions which exceed our knowledge and access as humans. Myths will always be useful tools for humans.

So older myth systems may seem quaint to us now, but they once were state-of-the-art, current with the science of their day, and we need to respect older myths for various reasons. There is still a lot to be learned about morality, love, and human nature from obsolete writings like the Bible, Quran, and Vedic Verses.

Of course, as sceince and knowledge expand, older myth systems become obsolete. This does not mean the man outgrows his need to believe in myths, preferring something called 'reality.' It simply means it's time for us to invent new myths which are relevent to our age.

If you want to know where this is happening, rent a movie -- Hollywood is the new mythology and the stars are our Saints and heroes. Soccer players and tycoons like Bill Gates and Donald Trump are the warriors of our new mythical adventure as a human race.

If you don't believe me, try reading the Medieval stories of the life of Saint Nicolas (now called 'Santa Claus', in the Latin writings called Vitae sanctarum) and comparing the adventures of this Saint to characters played by Clint Eastwood. The ressemblance is astounding!

Ho! Ho ! Ho! Merry Hairy Hoarfrost and Yodels with butter cookies and pumpkin pie!

Try this: Look at your reflection in a mirror. Then ask yourself these questions:

1. Are you looking at you? Both 'yes' and 'no' would be correct.
2. Is your reflection in the mirror a perfect reflection of you?
3. Do the words coming from the mirror match the words coming from you?
4. Do the actions in the mirror match your own actions?

Jesus Christ was a perfect reflection of God who revealed to mankind God's Word and Will. It is in this way that when He says "I am the son of man." and "I am the Son of God." and "I am God." ... He speaks the truth.
