It is not proof that god exists.
It is totally unconvincing to anyone who does not beleive in god.
It is pointless as a response.

Probably for the same reason that some people believe you can only place religious questions if you are a believer. The idea of debate never crosses their minds. Not only do they relate verse after verse out of a book that has as many holes in it as a sieve, but they have the audacity to call it 'truth' and sneer at evidence put forward by scientist that ANYONE can look at, measure, see and discuss. The main difference between evolutionists and religious people is that an evolutionist will drop his believe in evolution tomorrow if a piece of scientific evidence is found that proves the entire theory wrong. (Please note I said 'scientific evidence' not another 5 quotes out of the bible!). Interestingly, someone else could quote 10 verses out of another religious book 'proving them wrong' and a religious person will NEVER be willing to drop their belief, such is their arrogance.

Bible is not the word of God as there are more than 200 mistakes in it. It is also nusense to quote Bible for an example.
Dr. Campbell himself has said in a debate that Bible cannot be book of God as he was unable to prove the mistakes.
Above all no christian is following Bible.

The fact that Christ never propogated Christanity as a religion

Its basically because their arguments are so weak that is all they have to use. Its the most inaccurate, contradicting, fairy tale book ever. They make up their own facts half the time.
Take Devora Ks answer above regarding Albert Einstein. She thinks he said the more he studied science, the more he learned about god - crap. He was an atheist. He was logical and intelligent and had no need for a fictional "god"

neither science or religion has the answers to everything. If you were a being who could create a universe would you give the people you have created the answers to everything i think not as i don't think the human mind would be capable of understanding a being of that magnitude. Faith by definition is the belief in the unknown a belief in a creator bigger than ourselves. Scientific answers to evolution and the creation of the universe are just speculation and theories plausible or not . Faith is an essential part of human existence like it or not. HERES A QUOTE FOR YOU As he thinketh in his heart so he is profound huh

Your right in saying that the bible is not proof, and no matter what anybody says you would not believe it, so lets forget about the bible which was written by man.
There is no SCIENTIFIC proof that GOD does NOT exist, nor is there any to say he does, and this has been stated so many times there is nothing to can say to prove he does not exist

It certainly odd isn't it?

"As Christians we believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We do not need to proof (sic) anything." Why thank you Valerie C.

I just wish more Christians felt like this and stopped bugging us with irrelevant attempts to turn things like evolutuionary theory into 'matters of faith'.

When are people going to realise that you can't demolish a scientific theory except with scientific evidence? Religious arguments don't work because they are based on faith.

But hey, you want to keep trying? Knock yourself out.

Happy Christmas everyone!!

What is a scientific statement? Ones personal point
of view? Or established FACT?
EXAMPLE: The "Theory" of Evolution is still only theory,
and not established scientific fact.
I have many theories about spiritual matters based on
established scientific fact, like forces at work. Sound,
magnetism, but I get poo-pooed all the time!

i assume no longer. there replaced into one answer (wish I had bookmarked it) that did a reliable pastime of surely development a data, granted it did no longer delay once you appeared at it somewhat is sources and implications, yet it did show that somebody had placed some concept into it. between the flaws that amazes me is that Christians tend to have faith each thing and something that's reported via yet another Christian i.e. "a Christian author or pastor says it, it may be authentic."

Why do people say they are atheists when...
Science cannot prove or disprove God
So they (atheists) definitely believe in the NON-EXISTENCE of God,
where both are unproven
So a believer is called unscientific, but an atheist is
you said 'it is not proof' and that is the extent of truth in your question.

many atheists sit on their laurels, self satisfied. Because the existence of God cannot be proven, they self righteously believe the absence of proof is the proof of absence.

Science involves observations and measurments.
Atheists claim to be scientists, but they have more comments than observations.
