In Pennsylvania, we don't get much ice no more, (damn global warming) but when it's cold, what can I fish for, and what are good baits to use? What kind of fish are out in winter?

Almost all fish will feed in cold water. You will want to slow down your retrieve though on artificials. A minnow would work nicely for most species. Fish just like you would if there was ice.

If you're near Lake Erie you may want to try Steelhead fishing. They are in a lot of tributaries all winter. Good baits include spoons ,minnows, worms, and salmon eggs. These fish get up to 30lbs. and are incredibly powerful and fast.

Any kind of fishing can be done, its the catching that is the issue and don't let it be a cold!
