Depending on where you're located, you can buy Tony Chachere's marinade to inject. There are a few injectable marinades available at the local supermarket, cold storage or Walmart. I injected mine yesterday afternoon and letting sit in the fridge overnight. I will deep fry it today about an hour before company arrives. For those who haven't tried a fried turkey, you don't know what you're missing. The turkey stays juicy on the inside and has great flavor. If the marinade is not available in Singapore, let me know. Since Singapore is my 2nd home, I know how difficult some items are to find so I'll be happy send you some.

i have never heard of anyone deep frying a turkey, your best oven roasting it, wash in cold water, rub with salt, push butter under the skin and on the skin, cover with tin foil and cook according to the weight of the bird. If its just a portion you wish to fry, try a chilli or garlic and rosemary marinade and shallow fry/you only need a spot of oil , on med heat. edited: you have another reply about fried turkey, how do you get a pan big enough to deep fry a turkey, sounds very nice, but isnt it greasy, how do you know if cooked properly.
