clinically speaking to boost your immune system you should be vaccinated and repeat the vaccination each few years depending on the infection and the job you are occupying. however by maintaining a good nutritional state you will improve the efficacy of your immunity. if you are seeking medications it will be better to avoid them if you are in a normal state because they increase the risk of having immunological diseases.
by the way i read an answer posted that mention that vitaminC is a good booster for immunity. unfortunately this was not been proven scientifically! however lots of people do take it as a prevention and treatment for flue-like diseases!!
(remember that the immune system can be altered also by your sleeping time... if someone is tired his immunity will be declined)

Healty diet,regular exercise,enough sleep,stress reduction ,safe sex and no drugs certainly preserve your immune system.No miracle medication has proved to boost the immune system of a healthy person.

you can go wild in the shopps buying things that will help. But eat plenty of fruit and veg and get some excersise, and your body will have what it needs to fight off illness better. If you already have a cold eat more oranges and kiwi fruit. full of vit C. happy xmas..
