hey am trainin 2 be a hairdresser and i think the straightners are called fhis not hfis coz we do them at our salon, to be honest i think they are just as good as ghds (i myself own ghds) they both have ceramic plates which protect the outer layer of the hair its also best 2 use a heat protector spray, but they are dearer than ghds but i would say they are just as good x

I don't know about HFI's but furtura straighteners are definitely better than ghd's

there are plenty of irons about with 3 letters to try and imitate ghd. For the most part they are ok quality but fairly basic technology
