The only proof is the faith that exists in your own heart and mind.....man created most religions and rulers and leaders fought wars to defend their loving beliefs (slaughter, war, the whole 9 yards) is mainly over religious rules and beliefs under the same Gods, whichever religion you might be....you would have to go far into history to find out how most religions stemmed out...mainly it was whichever leader could rule and take over , control people into becoming what...these religious wars are still being fought today (Look at the slaughtering of the Muslims by the Christians--the war was to kill to protect Jesus Christ's good name....that's what Jesus would have wanted , huh?) Anyway, point is: the God everyone believes in is very very different in the eyes of people all over the world, even when it is the same God......or is it......your own heart, my dear, your own heart......

Jesus proved that He is God by doing miracles, signs and wonders when He walked on earth. His believers are also proving God exists by preaching and teaching with miracles, signs and wonders following. As Christians we know God is real when the Holy Spirit confirms with our spirits that we are children of God and when He gives us utterances when we pray in the Spirit. We know God is real when His Spirit talks with and works through us as His holy temples.

One has to wonder. Countless civilizations throughout history have believed in Gods that were proven imaginary as their societies fell by the wayside. These societies all fervently believed that their religion was the right one and the only one.

There is only one God, but there are as many paths as there are people. All paths are equally valid, and there is no one right path or religion. This is something that most of the free thinkers understand perfectly well. The objection that most free thinkers have against Christians is not that their beliefs are different from ours but that they keep insisting that the only true way is their way, and those who can't accept that, are all going to hell. I have never heard a free thinker tell anyone who disagrees with their beliefs that they will have to suffer eternal damnation as a result....or any other kind of dire consequences for that matter.

No one would object to your belief in Jesus, as long as you admit that there is no one right belief and yours is just one path to God, not the only path. Our respective beliefs mean just as much to us as yours do to you. The reason people keep getting mad at you Christians is because no one likes to be told "I am right, and you are wrong, and if you don't accept my way, you will be eternally damned". I have been trying for a while, to figure out a way of explaining to you all, why so many people get so riled up, but I guess there is no way to make you understand how you come across to others, and how it makes them feel. I don't agree with all the free thinkers, and they don't all agree with me, but we don't attack each other because we know that it is okay for us to believe in different things. Even the atheists don't attack those of us who do believe in God, or Gods or Godesses, only in a different way from you.....because we don't attack them or call them wrong or tell them they are going to hell.

To try to give GOD attributes such as being one thing and not another goes against what he is in the first place. All I know is that I feel GOD with my heart and then I see him all around me.

Faith comes in many forms. This question can have no right answer. God is purely a speculative concept.
