My soul knows that there is a God and I will be with Him after my body dies. My soul knows that the God portrayed in the religious books, bible and quaran, is nothing like the real God. The books are crap and should be treated as such. They are full of hate, bigotry, and lies.

IMHO, G*d knew his creation was with tremendous faults; freedom of choice is a grave responsibily and us mortals sin because we can. It's like a kid and dirt. If there's dirt around, the kid's bound to get dirty. Some only dirt under the fingernails, with other dirty from head to toe.
Jesus cleansed us by taking the responsibility (the dirt, per se) of the transgression upon His own shoulders if we acknowledge the burden, how He's able to do so and most importantly, WHY He's doing so. "Go and sin no more" doesn't mean you can become Christian and then become an evil-doer believing you're saved.
It's complex, my friend. It's NOT something you'll understand overnight. It takes plenty of time and a lot of reflection.
Eventually, it sinks in. When it does and you asked to be saved, you'll have a life-changing experience as if a disease has been lifted from you.
Kind of like a jigsaw puzzle: when enough pieces come together, you glimpse the big picture.
If you're truly curious, look into it. Just don't expect immediate understanding... it's not sudoku

Sin is what offends a holy God. He created all things perfect, but man wanted his own way. Mankind inherited the "original" sin of Adam. From the beginning of time, God had a plan in mind to save us from our sin - His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the bridge that joins the seperation between God and man. A holy God is on one side, we are on the other. Jesus is the bridge that joins us - if we accept the Sacrifice of His LIfe as the cure for our sinfullness .

According to the HOLY BIBLE the wages of sin is death. Because sin goes way back to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden sin is in existance. Had Jesus not come to Earth to die Everyone in the world would go to Hell. God sent Jesus so that we might be saved. All we have to do is ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and follow him according to his word. Jesus is love..GOD is love..We should also be love...
We have all heard the saying "Seeing is Believing"..well in this instance we live by faith and not by what we see. We will see God in Heaven one day if we live right and follow him. We will always be a sinner but thru the blood of Jesus Christ there is forgiveness. Stay in prayer with God!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who soever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal live.

All the times that I have and will sin, Jesus has taken my punishment, because God has made a way for me to be forgiven through the blood of Christ. Salvation is completely a work of God. Salvation is mine because I believe that.
When Jesus died on the cross, He bought me with His blood. I am no longer my own, Jesus owns me.
When Jesus comes back, alive or dead, I will be in Heaven with Jesus, I am His.

Christianity adopted the ancient theme of the young god who must die in order for life to be renewed. This was one of the oldest and most common religious themes in the ancient New East. There were many versions of the story and during the period of Hellenism it found its way into the Jewish apocalyptic tradition, and then into early Christian myths about the role of the Messiah, Jesus. Since he did not spark the physical revolt of the Jews, his story was reinterpreted to make him the virgin god who died to save humanity. In short, he was a blood sacrifice. This need for human sacrifice to appease the angry gods an even older idea that was slowly losing ground, so rather than actually perform the rite, it became mythological.

Christians believe Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice to Godl so God would ignore the sins of the world.
I do not believe Jesus died for our sins, I Believe Jesus came to set an example for us to lfollow.
I bellieve Jesus was murdered by the Romans with willing accomplices by the Jewish Rabbis.
I believe he was murdered because they were fearful he would start a revolution and overthrow the Roman occupatuion.

it there because the feeling is more reliable than a human being. humans have a VERY bad habit being fickle on the subject of trust. the key to a better afterlife(not reincarnation),is knowing that after death you have joy no non religious or athesist could tell you about. the petty things such as riches(which will continue to happen not too often),need to boss people around, looks described as "essential". you're important because you're a human being and not because you have to slave to make sure you're appreciated. my horrible diseases are cured not by an ignorant person but by God who can make life more worthwhile. the latest bag from Macy's isn't going to make me a BETTER person but a STYLISH one.

The answer is not found in your heart, but in the Word of God, the Bible. The Bible is a compilation of 66 books, that were written over centuries, and miraculously agree together under one theme. It reveals God's creation, dealings, history, message of salvation, purpose for our existance, and hope of the future for mankind. He is the underlying presence in all of the Bible, and the focus is The Son of God, who is referred to as the creator in Coll,1:16, and the "savior" of mankind, Luke 2:11. You see the Bible shows the fall of man in the beginning in Gennesis and God's provision also, to redeem mankind to himself through the willing sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross to pay the price of our sins. You see when the first man Adam sinned against God his nature was passed down to all, Rom.3:23. Through the second Adam, Christ , grace was given to all who believe and "recieve" Him as their "personal" Lord and Savior. See Rom5:12-21, John 1:12. It's like this, we are all guilty before God, not so much as what we have done, but, who we are! God's law has been broken by everyone, HE the Judge must administer justice, but Christ paid our debt, to set us free and to be totally forgiven. But we must appropriate this gift by accepting and believing in one's "heart", Rom. 6:17. The truth is not found in your soul, but it is found in the written Word of God, recieve its message into your heart, God will save you. When you believe, and CALL on Him, Rom.10:13 God will do a marvelous work in your life! Do it today, and go find a Bible preaching, Christ focusing, church, and grow in your new life in Christ! Then you'll really understand the true meaning of Christmas.

The truth is not inside your soul. It is in the Word of God. You are looking for it in the wrong place. Jesus said, "My Word is truth."
