Most people who believe, in God, think this question too easy, to give serious consideration to,because if you were to ask a believer in God, who is your God? They feel it could be very easily answered, by them presenting their own personal viewpoint, the answer would most likely be "well the God of the Bible".That's my God, but, now, can the question be dismissed with so little consideration? that is one just giving his own personal viewpoint as to who he says God is, for example: What does the God you claim to be yours, say of you as a worshiper? Does he acknowledge you as one of his servants?Does he accept your worshiper of his? Does jhe accept you as one of his worshipers? If not, then, even though he is God, he is not your God! So it's not just a matter of expressing one's viewpoint, saying my God is the God of the Bible, it must also take into consideration what does the God of the Bible think of you as a worshiper? and wether you are acceptable to him as one of his servants.

Great question, hard to explain but let's try.
For me, now, God is something akin to the totality of everything.
As such are all part of God, but more than that the relationship between me and God is intimate and direct. I believe that God is in me (and you) and that I am in God (and so are you). Mathematically the way to symbolise this would be with the relationship 'identity' ... God and me, me and God are one. This leads pretty directly to recognising others as aspects of myself. When I talk or act, I'm telling myself something, When I listen to others, I'm giving myself a message. I maintain a sense of wonder and appreciation at this relationship. Worship of a wholly external God isn't something that readily fits with my outlook, though I give thanks when I feel I have learned a lesson or when I feel in step with the cosmos. Service may be inevitable, not a matter of choice. We form part of the grand weave of cosmos. Ideas and teachings echo down the corridors and time and pass through us - in this way we 'serve' others and ourselves. However, when it comes down to it, there is just one thing and we are all part of it, not bounded by space or by time.

With all that said ... I celebrate Christmas
Have a great one

My God is your God, her God, everyone's God. Names have no importance, but I like to call Him Father, because that's what He truly is above all else, the Father of all creation.

"AlexanderK No your god is not my God your god is unknown, andwithout a name you do not use his name so your god has no name but my God has a name his name is Jehovah"

Whatever. It's your decision to give importance to names and ignore what really matters. Happy Holidays!

I am an Atheist. I have no Gods as I do not need them. I have learned to accept the world as it is warts and all and to do what I can to improve my own lot in life.

There can be only one God (the Creator of the universe.

The fact that different people and different cultures call the Creator by different names is not an issue for me.

I believe that God was the big bang and that is the only part here.

The bible was written by men. Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.
