Well the PC has actually caused more damage than TV I'd say. Sometimes TV even brought families together. (The Wonderful World Of Disney, etc.) Before all of today's distractions, what did people do? Families came together and had healthy, normal relationships. People went out and lived. This has become a world of convenience and we've become too accustomed to it. But...as with everything in life...this cycle will come back around and we'll go back to families being together, people doing things more often. Just not sure when, and what will cause it.

Philo T. Farnsworth invented tv the pc is out for argument as to what you mean
On September 7, 1927, Philo T. Farnsworth demonstrated for the first time that it was possible to transmit an "electrical image" without the use of any mechanical contrivances whatsoever. In one of the first triumphs of Relativistic science, Farnsworth replaced the spinning disks and mirrors with the electron itself, an object so small and light that it could be deflected back and forth within a vacuum tube tens of thousands of times per second. Farnsworth was the first to form and manipulate an electron beam, and that accomplishment represents a quantum leap in human knowledge that is still in use today.
