Maybe it is not a misdiagnosis and the medication does not cooperate with you. A misdiagnosis is possible, but the meds not working is not 100% proof. You should call your doctor on Tuesday just to let him know what is going on.

Check with your doctor. Usually, ADD or ADHD meds do not make the patient feel like they are on speed IF the patient does indeed have ADD or ADHD. If you don't have either of those diagnosis then you can feel like you are on speed.

It also may be temporary side effects if you just started the med, but check with your doctor.
