You see that people here claim they are open minded but yet when presented with the Gospel, they attack it and call it a fable. I thought Open minded means you look at all sides.

There is only 2 things, Good & evil, Right or wrong, Yes or no, left & right up & down & I believe & I don't believe, Day & night, The reason many people has closed their minds is they refuse Truth & God has sealed their minds from Truth because they love evil & this world.

I think you lost the plot here because deciding that the Gospel is a fable is not indicative of a closed mind if you have looked at it and come to that conclusion. I have come to that conclusion but realise I could be wrong while you could be right.I suspect you are adamant that you are correct and that there is no place in your mind that you could be wrong. That is a closed mind. After all religion requires a closed mind. Namely blind faith. Otherwise you are committing a sin.

Recently watched a documentary about St Nick and Santa Claus and how what was an essentially good story of an great man was perverted, bastardized and twisted for commercial gain. Kinda feel that way about Christ. Don't have a problem with his message its the messengers he chose to deliver it who are a bit nasty.

I have heard about the gospel for years. I know that Jesus was a good man, maybe even a prophet. I also know that the bible was written by men and it fiction. Sin, hell, and satan are man made words. Keep you book and its hate and bigotry to yourself.

Have you studied Buddhism? How about Wicca? There are many roads to God. He does not care which road you choose.

I see the same thing. And as they throw out Christianity as a fable and faith in an imaginary being, claiming that we aren't open minded, they close their minds to us. You know we're gonna get thumbed for this. lol

They hate to have their 'open-minded' stance be of the topic in its logical state of mind regarding Gospel. 21 Gospels is not enough for them to be the truth about Jesus.

I never claimed to be open minded. the bible is man made up of a bunch of fables. I'm not attacking, just stating the facts. maybe you should be open minded yourself and admit that you've never seen your god.

when you become extreme in anything you end up being the very thing you hate or despise, look at the pilgrims they came to the Americas for religious freedom, to practice religion they way they wanted, and thene they ended up treeating the natives the same way they were treated in england

Most of those people have already examined "the Gospel" and have come to the conclusion that it's nothing more than myth.
