Many Muslims tell Christians and non-Arabic speaking people that we do not understand their Qur'an because we cannot read and understand Arabic. And many Muslims say that the English translations of their Qur'an are not correct, or valid. Why would God only write the Qur'an for Arabic speaking people? Is "Allah" an Arab god..... and not a god who communicates with all people.

The Qur'an was originally written in arabic and any translation will be, just like any translation, not entirely correct and require some interpretations. That turns out to be a problem to whoever wants to take the Qur'an litterally and/or find hidden messages in it.
The Torah and (the rest of) the Bible have the exact same problem ! The Torah is still read in hebrew; the Bible is now mostly read translated, but there is no universal agreement on which translation to use.
As for the important of the language in the liturgy, remember that the catholic church had all their masses in latin until 1965.
Now, is Islam only the religion of Arabs ? well, the country with the largest muslim population in the world is Indonesia. Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey come close. These are not Arab countries, not even arabic speaking ones. Neither is Iran.
To (some) other posters: your claims only show you're as ill-informed, and fanatical in your ignorance as whatever image of a fanatical muslim it is you have in mind.

1. Allah is god in the Arabic language.
2. Islam is worshiped in many countries that do not speak Arabic, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran... the list goes on quite a bit.
3. The Qur'an was written by scribes (possible Mohammad's wife) as Mohammad was illiterate, but he was the 'prophet' who god (Allah) chose to tell the stuff to, so it is written in Arabic, and has never been translated. Mohammad worked in a Monastery as a kid, and saw the bedlam of the Early church with many versions of the text being argued - so I guess he wanted to avoid that. What he didn't for see was the power struggle between his offspring on his death splitting his 'church' into two sects, the Sunni and Sh'ea churches.
Allah is the same god as in the Bible, and in the Torah, we are all peoples of the book, according to the Qur'an. When Muslims tell you about their book, they are Qur'an bashing, just like Christians in the mid-west like to Bible-bash. Very few of them even know that it is written in the Qur'an that heaven is a river of milk and a river of wine, and that there are no rules prohibiting alcohol in the book, they were written in the law books thirty years after Mohammad's death.
The Bible was only translated to English during the 16th Century, originally it was written (old Testament) in Hewbrew, and Greek, (new Testament) Hewbrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin.

definite. Arab Christians use the time period Allah. Allah is only a note. The time period Allah and God ability the same element. Arab Christians predate Islam with the help of almost 600 years. Arabs were the first Christian converts of the Apostles. And, they call Jesus Christ Isa bin Allah, or Allah.

No Islam is for everyone but the quran was written in Arabic because it is the language that people speak in paradise. I speak arabic and my teacher told me that arabic was used in the quran because it is a very deep language and there are lots of words you could use for one meaning. Like in english we only used the word "lion" for the animal but in proper arabic there are over 20 different names for lion. Some quran translations into english are ok but make sure they are well thought of before you buy one.

1-"Allah" in Arabic is equal to "The God" in English,where in the multi-god environment of ancient Arabs,"Allah" used to introduce the only Creator or God that is a basic belief in Islam.
