no, i lost my virginity when i was 15. but, don't be putting it out to more than 1 person. actually, i think it's good to have sex with a stable partner, so you are not letting your hormones get the best of you with everybody out there.

If you have to ask, you aren't ready.
bottom line is, it doesn't matter how we answer, if you want to have sex, you're going to whether we tell you that you should or shouldn't, so the question is kind of pointless.
You have already made up your mind that you don't think you're too young, but I would urge you to take into consideration the risk and position you could be putting yourself in, especially if you become pregnant. Are you ready to be a 17 year old single mom?
If not, how about STD's? How often do you hear girls talking about the virgin in their school? You might get the occasional comment about being frigid and so on, but it's nothing compared to the rumours that'll go around if you get a good dose of herpes, gonarhea or cyphillis.
Bottom line is it's up to you, but waiting until you are in a secure, commited relationship that you feel ready in is always the best choice.

Yes. You are too young for sex. Sex opens doors for problems such as getting an STD(HIV, Genital Herpes, Gonorrhea). At the same time, there is also a risk of getting pregnant. Remember, It takes only one time to become pregnant and to catch an STD. What happens if the guy you have sex with gets you pregnant and he leaves you? Your stuck with a baby whom you would have to raise yourself. The STD thing, having an STD sucks. You may end up not getting married at all. Most guys don't want a girl with an STD. You need to wait untill you are married. If you do decide to have sex, please ,please, I'm begging you, to use a condom. They reduce the risk of pregnancy and STD's.

I think that sixteen is too young personally, and this is hypocrite of myself. I was personally seventeen, and I wish I would have waited.
Sex can play emotional games with you, and I think that the older you are when you have sex the better decisions you make about your body.

You sound uncertain (because you are asking) so I'd say yes, you are too young.
It's not an age thing, it's more a maturity issue.
If you do choose to go ahead, please use protection. Tell him, "no glove, no love". A guy who won't use protection is bad news. (just think of how many times he didn't use it with other girls! STDs much?)

Yes you are my child. When I was your age, I never think that way. I waited until I found the right man for me. I'm still a virgin when I met my husband. I'm 32 when I met him, his my first boyfriend and my last married and gave birth with two children. I'm now 48 years old and still happily married for 17 years. I won't let anyone to keep me apart from him
