Actually, many Wiccans/Pagans do consider Jesus to be a fairly holy guy. Not a god. Not their personal religious guide, but someone fairly in tune with the Divine.

Hell, bud, I'm a Satanist, and I don't think Jesus was that bad of a guy. Overly idealistic, yes. Passive aggressive, yes. An incompetent excuse for a messianic figure, most definitely. But honestly I think he was a heck of a lot better than the god he was trying to represent. Then again, he may well have been trying to rework Jehovah all the way around, and the Big Guy had to take him down a notch. Out comes the Cross and everyone loses.

Stop fishing for ways to knock down others and take a good look in the mirror.

Merry Christmas,

Laz

Why yes, your question DOES depict wiccans as anti christ. Isn't that the purpose of your question?
Many people throughout the world don't believe that Jesus ever existed.. especially due to the lack of historical evidence to that effect. So, are they all "against" christ or do they simply choose to believe something else?

Ghandi said: "I like your christ. I do not like your christians. Your christians are so unlike your christ."

There are A LOT of christians who don't behave like christ. They don't feed the hungry, take care of the sick, follow his example... especially in their condemnation of those who don't believe. He never behaved that way. In fact, he saved his anger for those who were religious hypocrites. So, if they don't behave like Jesus and don't follow his teachings, according to your bible, that makes them anti christ also. Isn't THIS true?

There is a difference between "not believing in" and being "dead-set against" Jesus Christ. The former is simply an unbeliever. The latter is a form of anti-Christ.

i'd be straightforward i did not study all of it, yet some issues popped out. in the start: "Why might want to i trust God over Zeus, Buddha, Thor, and different gods?" nicely, i will say 2 solutions to that question. the first solutions is one i trust extra of. For an atheist to requested that question then i will ask "Why might want to I call a cat, Cat? might want to I call it Gato, Chat, Katze, or ???. God is efficient, so i anticipate that he has diverse names.” I understand your common sense in wondering this kind, yet you've seem to have forgotten the bits interior the bible putting forward deities which includes Baal fake gods, and explicitly putting forward they don't have any connection with Yahweh. “the 2d answer is to no matter if God wasn't the diverse gods, he did live on because the start of time. If he replaced into like different religions then actually he would perish with the help of now. yet considering we nonetheless worship him then i will say that he continues to be available. (X-information topic music)” the basically information we've of this center eastern deity is from the Israelites (initially). Their faith, and texts, are youthful than different nicely regularly occurring religions in historic previous. satirically, the religion that got here beforehand it interior the land of Canaan previous to the Israelites shifting in, and the religion which seems to reveal the most similarities, is the Canaanite faith: the religion the Israelites bent over backwards in claiming had no connection with their personal (smells fishy).

I'm sure their religion contradicts yours, and yours theirs. I think that wiccans would not consider jesus anything than a folktale, but i think they are more likely jesus indifferent. I, on the other hand, would consider myself anti-christ, just judging from the way most of his followers act. Just because you think jesus was not holy doesnt mean you are anti-christ. If you think he has had a bad influence on the world then you, like I, would be.

and because other people of other religions do not accept Jesus; you have a problem with that?

I think as long as religion teaches it;s followers to live in peace and harmony with the world around them; and helps them know God; it's a good thing.

People who believe they are right amd everyone else is wrong scare me.

In the bible after the flood; it says that God confused the tongues of man; I have NO problem when Christians acknowledge Jehovah, Jews achknowledgd YHVH, Muslims acknowledge Allah, Hawai'ians abknowledge I'O or E'O, or Cherokee indians acknowledge Ogedoda, Osage indians acknowledge Manitou, or Lakota acknowledge Wakan Tanka.

God is our spiritual father, and hears and answers the prayers no matter which language or name is used to acknowledge the Creator.

I think it is time for the literalists to GROW UP, and realize that God is Much larger and more powerful that their finite mind can understand!

Lots of people don't believe Jesus was a holy man. This tends to coincide with people who know about comparative religion and have an I.Q. above 90.
