When the sacred months have passed, kill the idolaters where ever you find them. (KORAN, Sura 9.5)
A Muslim must not take a Jew or a Christian for a friend. (KORAN, Sura 5:51)

Saying to me that the Bible is also violent does not somehow nullify the Koran. I'm not a Christian in the first place.

sura 9:5, So bring the battle to the civilians?
Sura 5:51, How does being my friend change your current lifestyle? And why is it that if I’m not Muslim, I’m automatically morally and ethically corrupt? Because I do not worship your God? Are not Muslims just as prone to being morally and ethically corrupt? No, they couldn’t be. The Middle East is an exception. Oh yes, I'm morally bankrupt because all I do is read books, go to school, watch television, listen to poetic music, and never hurt anyone.
Sura 47.4, 8.12, Why don’t these passages refer to Muslims who war with themselves, to people in general who harm the innocent? Why the demonization of non-Muslims? If a non-Muslim is trying to defend his country then why does he become the aggressor?
Sura 5:33, Resisting Islam is a poor choice of words.

sura 9:5, in a state of war , do u suppose to just sleep when your enemy destroys your country
sura 5:51, do we need to follow your current lifestyle, see how morally and ethically corrupt the society in the west is( even with your so called first rate mentality )
sura 47:4 again , during war.
How come u didnt put the verses which stated Muslims cant touch the old ppl, children and women during war. Even we are not allowed to destroy tree or houses wilfully.
sura 5:33 this verse start with
"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is..."
so, not for one who resist Islam, but one who wage war against Islam and has been causing corruption and mischief.
sura 8:12 again, during war.

first of all, when knowing the interpretation of these verses you will realise the difference ....
Second, if the meaning you go to for these verses is true, it will be under certain conditions ,,, especially when an enemy , like the paygans of mecca - the idol worshippers - are constantly following muslims where ever they are to try to kill them. The people of mecca pursued muslims as far as ethiopoia, to get them back and retrieve their "slaves " !
Even after the properties owned by muslims were confiscated, plus the torture and killing they have to go through , which forced muslims to migrate to ethiopia, that was not enough for the opponents !
The paygans of mecca went to the extent of allying with other arabian tribes and jews to fight the muslims and kill the Prophet Muhammad....
It is important when reading the verses of the Quran to understand the reasons behind those passages. Actually the interpretation of the Quran is a science standing by itself were the interpretor should study the history and reason for each verse... and lots of other dimensions to take into consideration !

If you really want to know, check: www.altafsir.com
The "opponents" are the idol worshipers. I wonder why are you sorry for them? We were not order to kill/force Jews or Christians!!
You have chosen the parts of verses that show how violent we are, if you are an honest soul, write more to let others see why we have such commands.
Sura 5:51, is not in this form, the word "friend" does not mean that we are not to have Jews or Christians as friend. As Jews and Christians in Muslims countries, how they are treated??
What a devil you are.

Satan has try every way to get Jesus out of the picture, & The quran is another way of trying to do it, I have always said, The quran is a evil teaching from a false prophet & many blind followers That will end up in hell just as mohammed did. Now give me the thumbs down & the violation, that will not change what I just say.

This is what Islam teaches, to kill infidels. This is why I left Islam. I use to think that people just misinterpreted Islam like the media says. But now i know thats bogus. Any good muslim like i was doesnt know about islam and has not read the Quran.

I think if you looked hard enough you could find similar quotations in the Bible....
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy [a] everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' "
Samuel 15:3
15 "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them. 16 "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. Numbers 31
If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again. Deuteronomy 13
Lest you think it's only in the Old Testament....
9And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe[c] your own traditions! 10For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,'[d] and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'

Is this accurate? I will be checking it out, but assuming it is.... I dont care if he's missed out the next part it's pretty obvious what it means.
My patience has truly worn for these people I hope others get their heads out of the sand too. Why are our governments exposing us to these hate-filled maniacs?
They burn our flags, they burn effigies of our leaders, even the Pope. They insult our heritage and our religion they preach murder and hate. Not only in distant lands but here on our streets whilst their families live on benefits from our taxpayers in houses we built with our own hands.
Have we really become this weak is this the liberty and democracy our fathers and their fathers laid their lives down for?

Have you read the bible lately. I suggest you start with Moses if not earlier. At least the Muslims did not have god telling them to murder all the men, all the women and every last child except for the virgin girls who were to be shared out as sex toys. Yup, I realy admire how God and Joshua were just and peaceful.

Have you EVER read anything like this IN THE BIBLE. The ONLY ONE'S "killed" was the opponents of GOD and the danger of intermixing Idols and not worshipping Him. Now as far as MAN goes that's a different subject. I have never read anywhere in Gods Word where Christ killed anyone when they rejected Him and His teachings, have you? All He ever did was preach and teach out of LOVE.
