Yes, Rose Hip Oil will help in regenerating damaged skin tissue due to its content of Tran-Retinoic Acids. When used on scars make sure the area is completely healed. After washing the area apply the oil and lightly massage the site. The effects will be noticable in 3 - 4 months. If it is an old scar it may take longer to see the effects. You should apply and massage the area twice daily.
I use Rose Hip Oil, (organic), on my face and body. I apply it directly to my face then follow with a moisturizer and for my body I add a few drops to my body lotion when applying. It makes your skin so soft and smoothe.
To read up more just type "benefits of rose hip oil" in your searchbar and read some of the sites. I ordered mine online and it only cost about $12.00 for 2.5ml bottle. A little goes a long way.
Also, remember anything that you use to fade a scar will take a long time. The scars don't dissapear overnight. Good Luck!

Tea tree oil has great antibacterial properties and is excellent for infections and the like. However for helping to heal scar tissue and improving the appearance of the skin, I would go for the Rose Hip Oil. Bear in mind that it is not an overnight miracle cure! Although Rose Hip Oil is very good for the skin and has developed a great reputation for improving scars, wrinkles and similar skin conditions. Also if you are dealing in older scars that you have had for a while, then it may take some time and perseverance for the scar tissue to lessen in appearance. Just bear with it though and it should help.

There is no such thing as scar removal, only scar reducer. You can purchase a product by Electoplast that you cut to the size and place on the scar and it gradually shrinks it so that it's not as noticable. You can also purchase a gel form, but both of these methods take a great deal of time to obtain satisfactory.
