I live out west and I have been communicating via emails and through myspace with a guy who lives on the
east coast. We both have mutual friends here in the west, but we have never met personally.
Anyway, we have been flirty in our messages to one another. Not sexual, just flirty.
Then the other day I ran into one of our mutual acquaintances and she told me he was in a relationship (had a girlfriend).
Well, he just sent me another message saying he was coming out west to my city in February, and wanted to know what the weather was like here in February.
Now, I know he could easily ask one of his other friends who live out here what the weather is like.
Here’s the question!
Do you think he was trying to see what I would say when I found out he was coming to my city??
Was he trying to line up a "hook up" while away from his girlfriend?
Or.....is he just curious about the weather?

Hmm...good question. Perhaps he is trying to bait you in case things don't work out with this alleged girlfriend. Guys will settle and once thewy know something better is around they will hop to the next. Perfectly explainable with guys. I would really ask myself if you are in fact interested in this guy. If you are and he isn't married then go for it. Who knows though, perhaps he is curious about the weather...but i think it is highly unlikely.

I really couldn't tell you... maybe he has a girlfriend and still wants to meet up with you.....maybe he is a scum bag and doesnt give a **** if he has a girlfriend or not..... just be careful if you ever meet this guy because once i met a guy and i thought he was all cool and fun to hang out with until i saw the other side of him and he turned out to be a freak and something was seriously wrong wit him and he was threatining to come to my house and hurt me.......

HE probably LIKES YOU yet knows HE HAS A female friend THERE FOR not some thing WILL take position. HE needs to BE acquaintances... DO YOU? AND basically because HE would like you DOESNT recommend HE needs a lengthy DISTANCE courting both. and evidently IT SAYS unmarried HE ISNT MARRIED OR some thing LIKE THAT. basically because you've A female friend DOESNT recommend THAT. until eventually someone IS MARRIED THEN they ought to positioned unmarried.

Based off what you just said, I would say there is a strong chance he was just curiousabout the whether, dont read in to it and make things akward. See what happens, keep an open mind.

I think he is trying develop an option with you. Definitely. maybe he is thinking about dumping his g/f. or not. could be innocent. or not. go in with your heads up..or try the direct approach.
say: hey the weather is great/poopy whatever? love to show you and your girlfriend around! (works best if you have her name)
