I KNOW this is a metaphor and a funny metaphor at that...so lets crank out our "mexican bug spray" and exterminate.

If you want a quick, sure-fire solution, I recommend a product called "Bug Stop" by Spectracide. It´s a clear, water-based liquid that kills all kinds of bugs (including fleas!) on contact. And better yet, one application lasts 9 months! A one-gallon container costs about $10.00 (can be purchased at Wal-mart or any home-improvement store) and can cover a 3,000 sq.ft. home. Application is easy as it comes with an applicator "gun." Be sure to spray inside all floor-level cabinets (emptied first) and along all walls, behind appliances, around windows and doors, etc, anywhere you know a roach will wander. Keep pets away until it dries (15-20 mins.) and within 24 hrs. your problem is gone (well, except for sweeping up the icky dead remains, lol.) This sure beats paying $30.00/mo. for an extermination service, don'tcha think? Good luck with whatever you choose :-)

One has the legal right (in America) to hire an exterminator to protect your property and health rights. Note the commercials on TV for insect exterminators. Be prepared to board pets (and yourselves) off property for a period of time. ANY food items left behind will probably have to be destroyed. Be wary of adverse reactions to residual chemicals. Ask your exterminator and health care provider for details. If your dwelling unit is attached to another, there are additional issues to consider - such as the probability that ALL units must be done at the same time - otherwise the critters will just migrate from one apartment to another for a while (and al owners must agree to this being done).

They are one creature that would survive a nuclear bomb. You just can't kill them all. Since you're in the immigration category, it's obvious you're talking about illegal immigrants, not roaches.
If you strike out against anyone, legally here or not, you can be imprisoned. Even illegal immigrants have human rights in the USA. When THEY start violence, THAT'S when the resistance groups will retaliate and drive them back across the border. THAT'S when there will be bloodshed. IT'S called a revolt, or revolution. We will revolt against the way our gov't has failed to close our borders, allowed too many illegals to enter and has failed to get them deported. We will exercise our rights to do the job our government is failing to do. It's our right to 'Bear ARMS" and to fight the infiltration of foreign people who illegally enter our country and abuse our citizen tax paid services. Be ready when the bullets start flying.

read the following and you will know the answer of your Q:
A 2005 US national study on factors that affect asthma in inner-city children shows that cockroach allergens appear to worsen asthma symptoms more than other known triggers. This study, funded by the US National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is the first large-scale study to rank asthma triggers according to severity.
Cockroaches have been reported to spread at least 33 kinds of bacteria, six kinds of parasitic worms, and at least seven other kinds of human pathogens. They can pick up germs on the spines of their legs and bodies as they crawl through decaying matter or sewage and then carry these into food or onto food surfaces. Germs that cockroaches eat from decaying matter or sewage are protected while in their bodies and may remain infective for several weeks longer than if they had been exposed to cleaning agents, rinse water, or just sunlight and air.

Hahahah! Thats what I say.
I think they should be forced to take birth control though.
Ive said this over and over again but it would be against everyones personal rights. But dont you think when there is a woman who has 5 kids and keeps popping out a baby a year should be fixed?? The government continues to give these women free services and dont help them fix their problem. They do it in Asia why cant we.

They just keep coming back. I found the best way to deal with cockroaches is keep your house clean and they starve to death. Problem solved. One question though......why are you asking this in the immigration section of Yahoo answers?.....lol

Yes indeed. But, we are not talking about bugs, we are talking about human beings.
Deportation is the answer.

Duh... ever heard of an exterminator??
Orkin (or lots of other companies out there) specialize in pest control. Haven't you ever seen a house with a giant tent over it?
