Spirituality (religion concerns spirituality) and reality in the natural are two different realms. A Christian knows what is naturally real is tangible and temporal and what is spiritual is invisible and eternal. A Christian also knows the natural is created out of the spiritual. There is no conflict between the two. A Christian know where one ends and the other one begins. There is no problem for a Christian to excel in science as well as in spiritual matters. It is not an either or situation at all.
