during the summer i liked this guy and he and me kinda hooked up [but i wasnt sure that he liked me or not] then when my friend came back from vacation she told me she liked him so i back off and then she hooked up with him. me and him go to the same school and like when hes around me he would put his arms around me. my friend goes to a different school so he comes over and visits her and one time she told me she kissed him. when she told me that i was like i really shouldnt like this guy anymore. i dont know what happened with them but after that i know that he hooked up with another girl at a party we went to.this past week we've been talking on the phone and at the beginning of the week he was like telling me how he made her something for christmas and each and every time we talk it feels like he likes me or something because he would be saying things about the past and how things used to be and how he misses it. whats going on? should i just move on and forget about him?

Life is short basically, your wasting your time with this guy. Move on and get what you want from a guy there are too many other cute guys out there lol. Right? This guy is into too many girls ans seems to be a player.

The rest of this was said by one of my friends here on yahoo 360.

I've learned that it is important to feel my FEELINGS! If I am happy, be happy! If I am sad, be sad! But, when it comes to negative emotions, I have learned that it is also important to know WHEN to LET IT GO and move on! Yesterday is just that ~~ YESTERDAY! If I live in yesterday, then I can appreciate the beauty of TODAY!

I highly recommend that everyone read the book called 'THE POWER OF NOW' by Eckhart Toole. It is an excellent spiritual book of sorts, that "changed my PERSPECTIVE on Life" and really helped me to STAY IN THE MOMENT; to STAY IN TODAY! Here is one exerpt:

"THE PAST IS A FORMER "NOW"; THE FUTURE IS AN ANTICIPATED "NOW". ALL WE REALLY HAVE IS TODAY! "

If I live in the past and think too much about tomorrow, I miss out on THE PRESENT(which is Today). All that any of us really have is the TWENTY-FOUR HOURS in front of us! "TODAY will never be repeated." It will soon become part of our past. I constantly ask myself, "Am I enjoying today? Am I accepting it for what it is? Am I going to look back and have fond memories of it?" Right now, it is November 28, 2006 and it is 9:50 a.m. In ONE MINUTE, it will be 9:51 a.m. I can never re-do TIME OVER!

I hope and pray that you all have a wonderful week. Enjoy YOUR MOMENTS, not your days

It's hard to move on when you like someone so much. From what you wrote it seems like this is a single guy who is casually dating. If you think he has any interest just ask him up front and find out how he feels. If he's dating then that's cool, stay friends and go date other guys. If he wants something more than that something you talk to him about.

He is playing you. He has hooked with you and your friend, plus another random girl-and plus how many more? Leave!! It'll be better in the end.

It's like this..u know? Like, just act like you don't like him and like some other dude. He'll be like all over you if he really likes you when you like do that and if he doesn't then you can like just forget about him cause he's like not worth breathing the same like air you breathe. Sidenote: the word 'like' may be a bit overused..ya think?

Talk to him about it. Sometimes guys (younger guys especially)
are confuses over who they "like" and who they "love"

sounds like he's not taking it as seriously as you are, since he likes to get involved with other girls. i would move on and find someone who isn't so flighty. :(
