I just started Yaz this week. I haven't seen (or expected) any changes in my complexion yet, but when should I be able to notice a change? These pimples are driving me crazy!

Everybody reacts differently. I believe your body will adjust to the changes of the hormones within 3 months. Sometime around then (maybe 3-6 months) you'll really notice a difference.

I've never heard of "Yaz"...so I dont' know. I used to be on "ortho trycyclin" a year ago, and it didn't do a damn thing. Maybe cause it was genaric (spellling). But I did hear that, that new "three day pill" (forget the name, but it had ads on t.v ALL the time" works WONDERS!!! I dont' have insurace, so I'm not trying it yet, but I do suffer from moderate acne and also would like it to go away. So, my recommendation is to use a "top of the line" birth control pill like "ortho trycylcin"

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

I was on birth control for years and never noticed that it helped my acne THAT much.... (maybe cut down on the major breakouts, but not the regular monthly pimples that girls tend to get.) You should find a good 'beauty routine' and follow it religiously to clear your acne--one that includes cleanser, toner and moisturizer. These can be purchased anywhere from the mall to the internet to the local discount dept store. (walmart, for example)

I've also been on the pill for years and it's never helped me. Tryed Ortho Tri Cyclin. Didn't do anything. I've tryed everything. I'm waiting for my insurance to kick in and I'm going to a dermatologist.
