This is not a "Do you think I'm hot" question.
Therefore you should conclude that I don't want a "I think your hot" answer.
To answer my question you need to know the following.
I have a good but not best friend that is a guy. He gave me a pair of earrings that were heart shaped for my birthday but he asked his sister want to buy me. So for Christmas I got him some expensive chocolate for a gift. He insisted he give me another gift back. He asked his sister again what to get me. He gave me a J. Crew hat that looks like it cost some more money than the earrings. Not a lot more but a reasonable amount more. Does he love me?

I don't want to ask him if he likes me because he is the kinda guy where if you ask him that he thinks you like him and he becomes awkward to you. At the top, the part where it says something about asking his sister about the gift, it is what not want.
