I don't think so. With very few exceptions, their culture is too different from ours. I think the only way to keep America as a united nation is to start deporting illegals, to prevent any more from entering, and to encourage the Hispanics residing in the USA legally to return to their homelands.

What is your opinion?

First off, they’re not “Hispanics”. They’re Spanish speaking Mexicans Indians of Mayan, Aztec, Nhutal, Oxaca Indian ancestry. The real Spanish people are European white of Celt-Iberian, Suevian and Visigothic Germanic ancestry. They look like these people:

As you can see, they don’t look like the Mexicans crossing over here illegally every night. They haven’t been to Mexico in over 200 years and 95% of Mexicans have never been to Spain or ever seen a real Spaniard before except maybe tourists. Mexico is 90% Mexican AmerIndians that mostly have zero to distant Spanish ancestry. The Spaniards only made a small minority in their colonies during Spanish colonial times. They were only interested in gold and exotic foods like pepper and tomatoes and got kicked out during the Napoleonic War. They didn’t cause any great genetic change compared to British North America or when the Vikings invaded Britain, Ireland, and Russia. These are the type of Mexicans I see that working as roofers, lawn mowers, bag boys in Filipino grocery stores, and cooks in Chinese or Greek restaurants.

The get called “Hispanic” because of Richard Nixon and Casper Wienberger who coined the term “Hispanic” for affirmative action. Emperor Napoleon III of France coined the term Latin America and thus “Latino” arose when he was invading Mexico and Vietnam (and coined the term “IndoChina”).

As to how we can deal the illegal immigration problem I’ve said it before, build a massive concrete wall fortress with MK93 heavy machine gun emplacements manned by US Marines armed also with M40A1 sniper rifles. Put electrified fence and mines near the walls with surveillance cameras. It’s our sovereign right. It’s worked between North Korea and South Korea (which the South Korean border is manned by over 40,000 US Army troops), It worked between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War. It worked for ancient Imperial China’s Great Wall against the northern barbarians for awhile. And it worked Roman Briton’s Hadrian Wall against the Picts barbarian radiers from Caledonia (modern Scotland). Why doesn’t the Federal Government get off its butts and start building the wall now instead of kowtowing the pro-illegal, pro-amnesty “Hispanic” lobby groups. We must also prosecute and put in jail company owners and human resource managers that willingly hire illegals.

what is "our" culture? We all have different nationalities and cultures as Americans...there's a difference between hispanics (or any race) entering the country illegally and hispanics coming in legally...I dont think illegal immigrants can become "real Americans" unless they were legal but a hispanic legally living in America is just as much of an American as anyone else. I think some of us are starting to forget what America is about.

Question for you... I am half Peruvian and half "white". I was born in America and it's all that I know. I feel just as "American" as anyone else. I wasn't raised hispanic, I was raised "white American" because my father was never around. I know nothing about being hispanic, but I still look half hispanic... where do you think I should go? And the rest of the people in the same situation...

I completely agree.
When most people spout that the country was founded my migrants they forget to qualify that it was predominantly Anglo-Celtic and Western Europeans as well as Jews who'd lived in those countries, thus essentially transporting a Britain, Ireland, and Western Europe with them.
The founding fathers of the nation were very much the product of British-Celtic heritage (Jefferson, Washington, Franklin among others) and this is very much evident in your political, legal and social systems.
In contrast, Mexico and most South American nations are the poorly managed ex-colonies of a great European nation that fluctuated between caring about it and not.
Redemption from poverty through hard-work, fair-play, mass education, legal parity for all, social justice are all the many aspects of a predominantly Anglo-Celtic legacy.
Therefore, if one compares the Hispanic legacy to that already extant in the US- one can easily discern that they are highly mismatched.
Thus, generally Hispanics through retention of their own rather alien culture, language and traditions, choose to not integrate with America and would thusly be seen to a poor choice of immigrant.
In conclusion (and I am a Liberal-inclined thinker), I believe that the USA's founding fathers would be incredibly saddened to see their nation foundering on these illegals.

I have met many legal Hispanic citizens who were very intelligent and brought much to the community. I worked with a Hispanic man who was an electrical engineer. I see no problem with someone coming here legally and living as a legal citizen.

Besides, looking at culture across the USA, I don't think you can really generalize it into anything. Go from the ghettos to the suburbs then to the rich part of a city, they will be vastly different with vastly different people. Now go to a small town, then go to a farm. There really is no set culture in the US, and we could learn a thing or two from other cultures that might actually benefit us.

Remember, being a descendant of an immigrant they are not familiar with their "homeland" anymore. They live in America, breath American air and abide by American rules.
Why is USA a united states? because the nature of its culture diversity. The best way to keep a nation united is to eliminate the differences. What you suggested is to enlarge the differences, which will accelerate internal conflict in American society.
Look at Thailand and Indonesia, their assimilation policy is so successful that people cannot tell who is Malay, who is Siamese, who is Chinese, etc. Assimilation is an important policy to keep people united.
Don't discriminate those whom you think is different from you. you are descendant of Hispanic well (if you are not Red Indians). The economy of a nation is usually hold in the hand of what you so called 'Hispanics'.

I came here when I was 6 and I've assimilated very quickly. What type of culture are you talking about? You know, we do come from different countries. I'm an U.S. citizen and love this country very much. I speak English, celebrate Thanksgiving, and watch English television. For me, this is my country and I wouldn't want to go back. This is history repeating itself all over, those are the same things the old immigrants used to say about Italians, Irish, and Scotts when they first came to the country. I consider myself an American and what is your definition of a real American? Is it having white skin or having to be born here? Believe me, some people are born here but don't like it and many who came here love this country. You need to learn many things about life.

First you must define the meaning of an american because land we live on is stolen land not just from indians but from mexcians as well so technically this is their land as well. Anyone who knows their history knows that. So if really everyone who is not of native american blood or hispanic or mayan blood is an illegal. This is a country built on lies, hate and stealing but yet the make laws to prevent anyone else from doing the same. It's not because they have learned the errors of their ways it's to protect what they have stolen so it can't be stolen back. But if you look at the way things are going now minorities are become the majority again.

Its quite an interesting topic, i think anyone who enters the US legal or illegal needs to play by US rules. I dont mean fingerprint and put a radio tag on everybody like what immigration wants to do, but i mean at least learn ENGLISH people. I met a Cuban guy in Miami who told me he's been in the US for 26 years; 5 in California and 21 in Miami and he said he never needed to learn english, because of the large number of spanish speakers. Its really annoying to have to deal with these people on the streets, in stores, in restaurants, they screw up your order because they dont know english. And then alot of them want to be like 'Latino pride' and 'Cuban Pride' etc etc...If you are so proud then why'd u leave? Really I have nothing against hispanics but they need to learn english and make an attempt to fit in.

Don't matter how country is founded that was then this is now. Over 90% of Americans are just that American. Every country on earth was founded by immigrants that's no excuse to allow uncontrolable flow of illegal aliens in the country

I can only assume you are playing Devil's Advocate. Many Hispanics ARE 'real Americans' and most of them don't like illegal immigration, either.
