Why is the bible so hypocritical? Didn't Moses kill a man, then was a fugitive. He ran away from his sins and then he meets God (burning bush). God speaks to him and says he will lead his people (Jews) out of Africa (Egypt). Why is he chosen, why not someone who didn't murder?

Next we have Mohammed who is also considered a chosen one. He is a Muslim not a Christian, but he marries a Christian. Why? Shouldn't he have married a Muslim... When you think of it Christians and Muslims should be side by side, not at eachothers throats.

Have you read bible from beginning to end. If you had you wouldn't have these questions. Do the work and then ask the questions.

Jesus came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The world judges people on exterior appearance but the bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

And this is what the bible says in Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

No hypocrisy there.

The Bible is not hypocritical...
Because God loves even murderers & He will use them (murderers like Moses) if they are willing to turn from their sins and be used by God.
Moses did...

Religion is man's way of trying to reach God.

Relationship is God's way of reaching us, through Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible was written from 1500 B.C. until it was finished around 100 A.D. That is a span of almost 1600 years. It was written by many different men from many different walks of life (Shepard's to Doctors.) Man physically wrote the words, but the words are not from man. They are the Words of God.

The living God can do what ever pleases Him. He is God. He chose Moses, I do not feel the "need" to question Him. ((He makes a much better God than I do.))

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

Jesus died for our sins. He seeks a relationship with us. He has given us mercy and salvation as a gift. Getting into Heaven is a gift, it is not earned.

The only folks getting into Heaven are those that have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

It is the only way to God the Father: John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Moses killed a man who was abusive, who was beating and oppressing his (Moses') people.

Granted, that's not how any of us should handle such a situation today -- but back then, there were no cops to call or anything.

Moses' people, the Hebrews, were being enslaved by the Egyptians -- one of whom was the abusive man whom Moses killed.

This does not make Moses, as you suggest, a cold-blooded killer.

the law was not issued until after the time that Moses killed a man in Egypt (which represents the world, so don't get it confused with Africa as a whole)

Moses killed an Egyptian who was beating up his Jewish brothers. Moses was so saddened by the sight and decided to strike the Egyptian.

It's not that it's set up this way first. God has made himself known to man but man has set up multiple religions. However, the reason man has done this is that our enemy, the accuser of the brethren, has caused him to do so in order to confuse people who love the truth. You know, the first rule of combat...divide and conquer? That is, he divides those who love the truth by religion and tells them lies to keep them from coming to the truth.

Jesus Christ said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me." He wasn't setting up a religion, he was telling us that he is the core of the truth. That is something that our enemy, the devil, doesn't want us to come to the knowledge of and he'll do anything he can to keep us from it.

His intention in setting up religions is not for good. First he divides people and then he confuses them be calling the divisions religions. In James 1:27 we find the definition of what religion actually is. True religion is not a bad thing. In James it says, Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Religion is God's way of revealing himself to man. False religions appear because Satan doesn't want man to see God. He divides people into religions and then causes them to do things in the name of their religion to try and confound those who are seeking the truth.

God died for ungodly man in the greatest act of love ever known to man. That is the truth that Satan doesn't want people to see.

The Bible shows people as they really are; hypocrites, liars, thieves, murderers, etc... The Point is that God loves us in spite of our shortcomings and He made a way for us to have fellowship with him through His Son Jesus Christ. I hope this helps.
