I don't know what's wrong with me. For the last few weeks I have been freaking out to the point where I make myself sick just because I have to go to work. My thoughts are racing uncontrollably, and start crying easily. I think everybody is leaving me, and I feel on edge if I haven't talked to my friends in a few days. What could possibly be wrong with me? I'm freaking out for no reason, but I can't stop it.

you could have the begginning of clinical depression, and the stress of your job may be causing it...sometimes...the serotonin or lack of it can cause that, just a mineral deficiancy...and the more you are thinking about it, the worse you make it, part of the anxiety attacks it appears you are having...go talk to your family doctor, and see about getting something to help calm you down, until you get to the root of your problem, and as I always tell people, just say your prayers, and give it to the Lord..

You could have generalized anxitey disorder. I used to get very worked up when I got ready for work and when I drove into work. After a few months of this horrible feeling (I was not new to this job) I just had to stop and think that everything was okay. I am find now. I can drive into work (and I even drive my finace into work sometimes) and I don't get all worked up. You could also have ADHD, it is common to have your thoughts race in ADHD. You should see a therapist about this. Your job should provide (free of charge) any counselling that you may need. It doesn't matter if it is work related or not. Ask about it. Employee Assistant Program I think it is called. You may need to be on a medication and please don't think you are crazy. I am on 100 mg of Zoloft and it works good for me. I don't have these pains inside my stomach anymore. If you are crying a lot, that is a sign of depression, and it is related to anxiety.
