What should be done about the illegal immigration problem in the Southwest?

I live in Dallas, Texas and what I see here is that there are too many illegal Hispanics. Their culture and their lack of education is appaling. I am starting to feel that I live in Mexico. They have, for the most part, a complete unwillingness to learn to speak English.
Since I work in the construction business, I see them on a daily basis, so I feel that I can speak with some authority. I think that if this influx of these people continues unabated, the United States will end up being a third world country.

.to me the problem is the job market and benefits. The illegals coming here are here to work and make money. If we (the real US citizens) were to set out certain laws to make it unattractive for them to be here, the influx would cease. #1 dry up jobs - any employer hiring an illegal would lose his/ her business license and the properties would be confiscated and auctioned, with the proceeds going to border patrols to beef up security. #2 no benefits, medical, food stamps, housing, education. no freebies at all from state federal or county sources. #3 No rental of housing to illegals. #4 no state federal or county documents are to be printed in any language except English. My opinion is that if these 4 steps were enforced, there would be little reason to come here as an illegal. We still need to deal with the current invasion but this would start to send them home.

I live in Houston, friend, and I know what you're talking about. I am a doctor. When I was still in the hospitals, I can guarantee that I saw more of them than you do... In a hospital, you can't turn anyone away. Now that I'm in a private practice, though, I have the right to turn anyone away. If you don't speak English, you're the first to get turned away. It's money up front, by the way.

This is what I think that America should do. I think that they should have a vote. Basically, anti-illegal vs. pro-illegal. They should make voters give their social security numbers. If the pro-illegals win the vote, THEY pay the taxes.

I'm tired of supporting a bunch of illegal aliens' anchor babies' education.

Stop the employment of illegals. Without the jobs to come to, the flood of people will stop. Increase the fines to employers to such a high amount, that taking that risk to hire illegals become to great. I say a fine of 1 million dollars per employee would be a start. All monies collected would go to feed and cloth the American poor only. Also put a minimum prison stay for any executive at a corporation that allows hiring of illegals. Stop the jobs and you stop the problem.

My heart goes out to the folks in Texas and in Southwest. I live in California.
Suffice it to say, the influx from Mexico is the worst. It's just TOO many to soon.
We gotta get em' out.
Stop hiring them and start sending em' home. It'll take time but if they don't work, they will leave.

I'm getting ready to leave the US cuz I don't think it's going to be a place anyone would want to live in. INCLUDING the Mexicans!

the problem is not their race or lack to learn English. It is their lack of education. America is now becoming a technological and educated industry. Most jobs now require a college degree. The illegals, lots of them do not even have a high school diploma, so there are not many opportunities for them. They can either work in manuel labor, or get welfare. We need to educate them, so they can do productive work, and we will not be a 3rd world country. It is a difficult pill to swallow, but we must do it

1- Build the border fence
2- Create a new Temporary worker Program
3- get cameras, guard dogs, and more Border pat./Nat. guard
4- STOP GIVING THEM EVERY FN SOCIAL SERVICE
5- PUNISH COMPANIES WHO HIRE THEM BIG-TIME.

I will tell you how to solve the immigration problem, the hurricane problem and the Eveglades problem. First, dig a mote the entire length of the southern borders a mile wide. Then, take all of the sand and build levees for the folks on the southeastern borders and then fill the mote with water and take all of the alligators in the Everglades and put them in the mote. As you can see, they don’t look like the Mexicans crossing over here illegally every night. The Spaniards haven’t been to Mexico in over 200 years and 95% of Mexicans have never been to Spain or ever seen a real Spaniard before except maybe tourists. Mexico is 90% Mexican AmerIndians that mostly have zero to distant Spanish ancestry. The Spaniards only made a small minority in their colonies during Spanish colonial times. They were only interested in getting the gold and exotic foods like pepper and tomatoes and got kicked out of Mexico during the Napoleonic War. They didn’t cause any great genetic change compared to British North America or when the Vikings invaded Britain, Ireland, and Russia. These are the type of Mexicans I see that working as roofers, lawn mowers, bag boys in Filipino grocery stores, and cooks in Chinese or Greek restaurants.

As to how we can deal the illegal immigration problem I’ve said it before, build a massive concrete wall fortress with MK93 heavy machine gun emplacements manned by US Marines armed also with M40A1 sniper rifles. Put electrified fence and mines near the walls with surveillance cameras. It’s our sovereign right. It’s worked between North Korea and South Korea (which the South Korean border is manned by over 40,000 US Army troops), It worked between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War (also manned by US Army troops). It worked for ancient Imperial China’s Great Wall against the northern barbarians for awhile. And it worked Roman Briton’s Hadrian Wall against the Picts barbarian radiers from Caledonia (modern Scotland). Why doesn’t the Federal Government get off its butts and start building the wall now instead of kowtowing the pro-illegal, pro-amnesty “Hispanic” lobby groups. We must also prosecute and put in jail company owners and human resource managers that willingly hire illegals.

i lived there for 25 years,an seen it go from a classy city to a crime infested dump,i moved away,go to parkland hospital and watch all the illegals going for free medical,it must be 25 million dollors a day ,the city is no longer what is on tv,its a dump
