The Bible is very clear on homosexuality so why not just stop being Christian altogether?

homo sexuality is no more considered as an abnormal by APA..you mentioned in your question that only some Christians only accept. that means those Christians have progressive ideas and began thinking rationally.

God hates sin. We all sin. Hate is a state of perpetual sin. At least I can try to overcome my sins if I do not harbor hate against others.
Although you could argue that Homosexuals live in a state of perpetual sin also, that is between them and God. My part is to help my neighbor, as long as I can do so without getting bogged down into sin myself.
Anyone that can live a life without being a gossip, a drunk, a bigot, a whore, a liar, or a self-righteous fool is probably in a fairly good spot to look down on a Homosexual as all of those persons are condemned just as strongly as homosexuals. But I think we all fit into at least one or the other of those catagories - and if you don't think you do you probably belong in the last.

the bible says that homosexuality is a sin, but you know what? the bible also says that the ONLY one who can judge is GOD. so therfore I do not judge other people because I have no right to. I am the same as them in God's eyes, no better. I accept and love all people as they are, in the end if thier actions are wrong, and they chose not to follow God, that will be between them and God.

You answered your own question--those parts of the Bible "that suppsedly state it's a sin." The keyword is supposedly. The Bible only explicitly condemns homosexuality in any way in the book of Leviticus, which applied only to the Levites. Furthermore, a lot of stuff in the Old Testament has been supplanted by things in the New Testament.

I do not accept the sinner but I do accept the sinner, Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I can not and will not deem someone not good enough for God because of their sexuality I was once a whore-monger, and lustful for all men, so who am I to judge Homosexuality? A man is not defined by his sin... Jesus has the ability to set them free just as he set me free. Only God can judge or condemn any man.

The reason is because these so called Christians want to believe that their sin is okay. They downplay sin, and make it seem acceptable which attracts more people. But If God is against it so am I. They can call themselves Christians, but they are not. A christian is one who follows Christ.

I am Christian and I accept homosexuality for those who indulge. But for me...I reject it because I am not homosexual. I have been taught to believe that it is morally wrong therefore should not be done. But I have my own mind. My mind tells me that I am not the one to judge anyone. If homosexuality is truly wrong..then those who indulge will be judged accordingly by God not me!

They want to rewrite the BIBLE to fit their lifestyle. They are NOT REALLY Christians at all in my book. I am not the one who will judge them though. In the end GOD will be their judge and ours too. They have the ability to change and repent of those sins. We are told that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD". I hope that we are able to get GOD's WORD to as many as we possibly can. I hope that you will be a part of that group. Read and Study the BIBLE with others. Make sure that what is done in your Church Services are what GOD has authorized in the New Testament. This is expected of each one of us. Have a great holiday!

Why do some Christians accept divorce? the bible is very clear on divorce, "The lord your god hates divorce" and Jesus said " if you divorce a woman and lay with another you are an adulterer and you cause the one you divorced and the new one you lay with to commit adultery...

Ever since the Catholic Church has admitted that 30/40% of it's priests are gay, which means 50%. This came to light when the Priest Pedophilia scandal broke. It goes on with all men of the cloth. They just haven't been caught. Why God never intervenes is a mystery.
