Currently, Boeing is now working on a few new models which including 747-800 and 787... The models will be at the market around 2009-2010... So, the prime time to take a lot of orders is now, which is why they are advertising now....

Moreover, with the recent delay on the Airbus a380 project, Boeing might want to attract those who were dissapointed with the a380 delay....

Because the play them a lot during December so little kids can point and say "mommy I want THAT for Christmas (or whatever)" then put it in a letter for Santa (the easter bunny sand man or whatever) and receive a major letdown on the day when the presents (gifts packages whatever) instead of their Boeing 747-400! That is exactly why!

Because the people who are in charge of buying planes for airlines ALSO watch TV, But moreso they are trying to make the public feel SAFE flying in one of their planes by showing the quality that is put into building one of them.

They probably think we might buy one or something. I don't have $100,000,000 to spend on a plane and fuel.
