If you are thinking of numberical years, the Thais start from the year of the Buddha's death, so in Thailand it's the year 2549. but the start of the year is Songkran, and that's mid-April. That doesn't correspond with any particular Buddhist festival so much as it is the start of summer.

But yes, if you mention the year 2006 to a Thai, s/he'll know what you're talking about.

Although Thailand is primarily a Buddhist country, the Buddha wasn't born there so there is probably no reason to have a callendar based on the Buddha's birth.

It makes much more sense to follow the christian calendar because it is used almost worldwide.

According to what's written in the Bible with the plants and flowers described around the time of Jesus birth it was either June or July. It's a secret who made up Dec 25. I don't know about Buddha's birth and if that time was ever changed.

acceptable for # a million---boy incorrect for #2---it mentioned lady yet I had yet another boy. EDIT: Wait a minute----i've got performed a diverse one before. the only the place you employ your age of once you conceived (18 with #a million 19 when I gave delivery). (that's how I did this one yet then I re-study the instructions) This one you employ the age which you may desire to be whilst the toddler is born. With this actual calendar---It says I could desire to've had 2 females---NOPE I easily have 2 little boys.
