Yes, actually I have. My last two jobs have had me on the road quite a bit. There were several times when I'd get back to the hotel room and head down/over/across to the bar for a drink and a bite to eat. But if you are asking if I ever just "went to the bar" without the intention of meeting up with friends, the answer is no. I DO belong to a social club in my area, but I don't go unless I am planning to meet someone there. Why are you asking this? I'm a little worried. If you are trying to meet folks this way, it's okay, but joining a social club in your area, hanging out at a bookstore or a Starbucks is much safer.

Have I ever gone to a bar alone? Yes, but then the people I was meeting showed up and thing turned out alright.

Yeah, I go to bars alone all the time. The best way to meet people in a bar is to go there by yourself.

I go all the time alone, I just moved so I dont know any one. Slowly you will meet people, I know its better then sitting on the couch. I know it sucks because you have no one to talk to but it will get better make friends with the bouncers, bartenders and eventually you will make friends.
