everyone might as well climb on board cause there ain't no way you're going to prove you're more right than someone else who thinks they're right.
enjoy the fact that you are seekers after truth and just meet as brothers, regardless of their paths, join the few who also seek just as honestly and diligently as you

I believe I'm seeking the truth, however I'm sure that what I want to believe has some effect on my pursuit. I've long prayed, "That I might find the truth," although lately I've been praying, "That I might find the truth, or at least some path acceptable to God."

There is, and probably always will be (until the End Times), debate over what the truth really is. That is why I do research. And with that, I try to make a distinction between what I believe and what I want to believe.

Seeking the truth. To me faith isn't faith unless it can be challenged & still held to. I constantly challenge what I believe. It's called growing. But I have yet to hear anything that can convince me there is no God. Everyone has some truth. Lies aren't very convincing to fool the masses. Thus I study science, various religions, etc. But the only thing I know for sure is there is a God in heaven who loves me. All the rest is a curiosity to be understood. Part of the pleasure in life is discovering new truths.

I like to think that I am seeking the truth. As a skeptic it is my duty to accept the truth even if I don't like it. So, in the case of religion, if someone proves there case to me then I will sign up on the spot.

All of us are seeking for the truth, but if the truth does not suit us, we tend to be biased and we only accept what we want to believe.

We will never know for certain the truth you seek. There is no way of being certain about any of the questions you ask. Religion is designed this way.

Seek the evidence and it will lead you to the truth. Belief is irrelevant.

That's why I'm an atheist now and why I used to be a saved & born-again Christian.
