The official language in Brazil is Portuguese. However, there are other languages that were spoken by the natives before the Europeans arrived. Some of them are still spoken. (i.e. tupi, guarani, etc.)
Italy is the place where one of the most important ancient languages appears, Latin. They also have Italian of course and some other languages.

Italians speak Italian... just that, at least it's what i think.
Brazilians speak Portuguese but another kind of Portuguese, is like American English and British English, some words are completely different but of course many, many words are similar. Brazilian has its origins from Portuguese language but i guess they have their own language : Brazilian
you can make this distinction : Portuguese from Portugal and Portuguese from Brazil (Brazilian)

Brazilians speak Portuguese, not to be confused with Spanish. If you don't know the language, it sounds oddly like Russian.
Italians speak Italian.
SergioPL is right, in Italy you can encounter Latin, but I haven't heard of this being used outside of the Vatican.

Brazilians have their own language I believe, and Italians have their own language. I don't think there is a combined language.
