At the moment we are mates but I would like it to be more than that. I have talked to two of my mates about this:
Mate 1 says: that i should just stay mates with her get to know her more and then hope that something happens.
Mate 2 says: that i should just go for it and ask her out.
Whats your opinion???

At the end of the day, if you're already mates then you're half way there! If its meant to be then just by being in her company it will develop into what it will be. Let what happens happen naturally and that way if she's not interested then you won't be risking losing a friend.
Thats the common sense advice, but personally I'd go for it! Who knows, she may feel the same just too shy to mention it. If you don't try you may never know!

I would go with mate 2! As for Mate 1's answer, you may never get something if you just sit and wait for it to happen and don't take the initiative. Life's too short, ask her out!

Look fella, tell her how you feel - TALK TO HER - If you have found someone you get on with great, take it further, the only reason not to is if you are scared of losing her as a mate. But think about this - if you don't and she becomes an item with someone else then the way you feel about her you are going to lose her anyhow, Happy Christmas

If it was me i would ask her out How will you possibly know if she likes you or if shes interested, unless you make a move. She could find someone else if you don't move fast.............Life's too short to worry about the unknown. Go for it!!!

Date with a few friends. Then if you think she really likes you, single date. If you're asking other men for advice, I think you're asking the wrong gender. Do what your heart tell YOU to do, friends don't always know whats best...
