I mean, they'll flirt and so interest in you. Drop hints like they want to hook up for a date. Then once they get you to show interest in them they back off.

Ever have this happen?

What's the deal, is this just a man who wants attention and is playing games?

Some men are just game players. Leave them be.

Yes!!! i don't like it when a man acts as if he knows i'm gonna give him the digits. I mean, how does he know he's my type? Do he really think he is that good looking? I hate it when a guy acts as if he knows me or cross those personal boundaries right away...a BIG turn off.

Either they're in it just for the chase or they don't recognize your subtle hints. You could try being a little more aggressive or direct in your responses to their flirtations and advances. I'm in sales so flirting with women (and vice versa) is pretty much a daily occurrence. That's usually as far as it goes. It's harmless and fun. The one time it went any further a co-worker simply asked if we could have lunch together. I never had any serious expectation that she intended pay for her own lunch. It's all part of the game and I appreciated just how direct she was about determing the potential for a promising relationship.

Good luck to you!

From a male point of view, I think it could be someone who enjoys the chase but then loses interest once the initial chase is over, or they suddenly figure out that they won't be getting any and so they back off (where applicable). But some women have been known to do the exact same thing!

They aren't getting the feedback from their advances that make them feel like it's OK to continue. Once you are interested, your hints have to be more up front. Remember, men are very shallow and we don't recognize subtle hints. Be more aggressive.
