No, it's the people that make a country not its president.

Silentevil is exactly right.

Diffrent people have differnt opinions -- It depends on who, and what, angle your looking through.

For example, if you're looking through a man who has a terrific job in Washington, pays well, eats well, loving family (ect.). This man has nothing to worry about at all, at least nothing political, as long as he gets his earnings and is treated fairly.

This man see's nothing wrong with his life in America.

Now here's when it gets twisted around --

The next day the man gets fired -- He has to sell his house to buy a small apartment to live in with his wife and children.

This man, now with more-less things to worry about becomes more aware of the political issues.

Obviously if Bush says something about how everyone in America has a good job and so on and so forth--

(Note, this isn't true, this is just an example)

-- Obviously the man is going to be upset.

As a president Bush has his acheivments and his disacheivments. Most people would choose the second considering that most of the things you hear about him is sending more troops to the Middle East and war.

Personally, I think Bush himself should go to the Middle East, into the war, into the very center of everything and see what he's put thousands of innocent men and women up against.

On the other hand, Bush has made some smart moves; When Katrina struck a very rich and powerful man in Spain (I forgot his name) offered Bush thousands of gallons of oil in turn of gratitude.

What did Bush do?

He said No.

Most people would think this a stupid move, but if you look at it more carefully it wasn't.

If Bush would have accepted the oil he would obviously have more weight on his shoulders to bare then ever because he would be in DEBT and which would eventually lead to another war one way or another.

To answer you'r question I think you couldn't say if Bush really ruined USA or not.

I do not see how the USA is ruined at all. People try and tell me it is but my water still runs I still have gas for my car. I still have food to eat I still have a job. I'm able to go to school I'm able to do every thing I was able to do before. People say the economy is bad but all the evidence points the other way. People try to say George W. Bush is a racist yet he has more black people in his cabinet than any other president in history. Even more crazy I've heard people say that they are not "real" black people. But what I have noticed a lot of lately is rich white guys blaming none other than rich white people for America's problems. I have noticed that George Bush is attacked quite a lot. A lot of the things that are said aren't true and a lot of things that are said are being said just to try and garner political support. Don't get me wrong George Bush hasn't done every thing perfect but then again I can't think of a president that has.

I could be a "good" president too if I didn't tax, and ran the national debt through the roof. but at the end of the day the dues will get paid but not by his generation

No he ruined our budget though. He turns every financial situation into ****.

He has bankrupted oil companies, he left TX in a deficit at the end of his term as governor (they had a surplus when he was sworn in) and we are now in the biggest debt in history in the U.S. (we also had a surplus when he was sworn in as president).

He also traded Sammy Sosa...

****
LOL! Why am I getting thumbs down? This is all factual. Its not like I'm criticizing him personally...look up all this stuff yourself.
