One of my good guy friends mentions quite often "why don't you have a boyfriend, you are very beautiful." and he calls me sexy or beautiful and is very touchy feely and grabs my sides and back a lot. He said that I was his best friend and we have a great time joking around with each other. He also jokes saying "ohh so and so likes you." I don't know what is going on inside his head, do you think he could be attracted or is he just being nice?

he likes you. he asks if u have a boyfriend so he knows his chances of being your boyfriend. he tells u who likes u so he can find out your reactions to these types of guys and why u might like or not like about them so he can be that guy for u

yea. hes totally into you. no doubt. if you still aren't sure, mess around with him and see how he reacts. if you aren't comfortable with that, maybe confront him about it? if thats not too uncomfortable
