the nissan frontier fuel sending unit ohm is 78 on empty and 4-6 on full. Now my question is would it matter if i get another sending unit with 73 on empty and 10 on full. Will it work properly? please i need an anser fast!!

Your fuel cells sender is not low enough ohms. 10 ohm won't read all the way full. Actually the ECM will light the check engine light if the sweep ohms are not right to high ohms or to low. Also remember the on board vapor recovery system is also compromised that too will have to be written out of the ECM protocal. You are planning to ever smog this truck some custom programing will be necessary. With 8 system readiness monotors smog inspectors have to see at least 6 compleated to pass the smog test. The three fuel level sensor codes P0460, P0461 and P0464. Are two circuit malfunctions and the kicker time over ohm reading the ecm sees to purge the Evap charcoal canaster.
