Nope. It's an old trick that lots of folks do. Want an extra little tip? Put tiny bit of gel on before you brush them and they'll stay put. People, (men and women) have been doing this for years. And lots of men get them trimmed and shaped a bit just to avoid that Martin Scorsese look.

It is not at all "weird" to brush them. They actually make a tool that is used specifically for eyebrows. It is an eyebrow brush. It is not as wide as a toothbrush. Some tools have a little comb on the other end of them. If they don't stay in place after you brush them, you can also take a TINY amount of mouse and put on them and brush them. It will help them to stay in place. Some cosmetic companies also have a "Brow Control Creme". BeautiControl used to make one, sorry I can't recall if they still do or not. It's not weird for guys to do a little cleaning up on the brows. It just makes you look well groomed if they are in control and you're not sporting a uni-brow. Don't be afraid to do a bit of tweezing yourself, or you could have your stylist do a quick brow grooming and get rid of the "uni". We have guys that do it all the time as a part of their haircut appointment.

They actually make a cosmetic tool that does basically the same thing that you're doing with the toothbrush. It's not wierd to groom them, and if you have uni-brow, I'd suggest you pluck or get them waxed. If they tend to not stay brushed, try putting just a spritz of hair spray on the toothbrush (they make hair spray for men, so you won't have to worry about looking "fruity" buying hairspray)

It is not wierd to brush your eyebrows. But if you wanna get rid of those bushy eyebrows, instead of plucking you can get threading done for it. Threading is the best technique for removing unwanted hair from eyebrows. It is not painful. It is also cheap.

I do my brother's eyebrows and I only pluck away the stray hairs that are completely out of place, and then I trim the long guys so that the eyebrows generally stay in one place and don't look scruffy or bushy. I would suggest having someone else trim them because you can really screw them up.

Not at all. you can buy eyebrow specific brushes (they look like a mascara brush minus the mascara...also come in the shape of small combs) fi you want, but if the toothbrush works for you, go for it!
However, I would encourage you to look at getting your brows professionally shaped, especially if they are "bushy."
Frankly, ungroomed eyebrows are a HUGE turnoff for me (and most women I know!) so maybe you could get them professionally shaped every 6 months and that would help keep them in line!!

no its not weird, but why are you against plucking? get them waxed, even better...even if you are a guy, no girl likes a dude with brows that are taking over his face. there's nothing wrong with a little personal grooming.
