My religion does not allow killing. So by killing, I would be relinquishing my religion.

Im a born again Christian and the Bible says that I can kill to protect myself and that is all. The Bible also states that I cannot murder, which is the killing of an individual for reasons other than protecting myself. If a religious text calls for individuals to obey and that there will be punishment by God if they do not obey, why should anyone have to kill. God should say, preach my word, and if anyone shall reject me, they will have their day in hell; not, kill people who dont know me, as the muslim extremists do.

No.My religion is not Abrahamic. We do not believe in killing people who do not follow our faith because I am Hindu. We believe all religions are rivers leading to the same sea.So we condemn no other religion.

Ha, I believe enough to die for my religion, but not to kill for it...
“Man lives freely only by his readiness to die, if need be, at the hands of his brother, never by killing him”

Wow, I guess this has happened a lot in history and continues to happen today. But my personal conviction is that I could not believe in something that promotes violence as a means of salvation.

NO. If you religion requires this nonsense action, quit it.
Kill another person is the more anti-human thing that you ever do.

I am certain I could kill if there was a compelling enough reason and perhaps that could be for my beliefs. Especially if someone was trying to force theirs on me and make me change mine.

I believe enough to be killed for it. As for killing all that is evil, I am content waiting as God planned.

It depends. The war between good and evil is becoming clearer. However...both sides are fighting for what they think is "the right thing to do" according to God. It's an enigma. ; )
