As a wife and mother, I wish I were able to forget. There are some people in our society that are just so sick and depraved that they don't think twice about what they do to innocent people. To kill a pregnant woman and her unborn child . . . to kill your own wife and baby . . . there will never be a punishment to fit this type of crime.

Living near Modesto and knowing some people involved, yes, I remember. I continue to pray for her family. Does anyone else see the irony of her being murdered at Christmas and then found at Easter? My heart goes out to the family.

Yes, I remember! It doesn't feel like that long ago. I remember because she had the most beautiful dimples and I heard her name and ever since, I have wanted to name my child after her. Lacey, not Laci, though.

That poor family had such a beautiful daughter, and was about to get a beautiful grandson.
Instead, the Rocha's had it ripped away from them by two-timer-- like he could just erase her and carry on with his life.
He got what he deserved.

Yes, I remember very well. It hurt my heart that they were both hurt so badly and basically tortured. May God have mercy on the family and those precious jewels that Jesus had to take so soon.

I really do...I was expecting at the time...my baby was born January 8th, just a few weeks later... and I have often thought of her and her baby in the quiet moments of my day...prayers to her family still
