Since I know nothing else how can I tell?

That all depends on what makes you "be". some people are happy being mean, angry, critical or whatever. Can those types of people truly be happy? Or are they a part of the old saying that "misery loves company"?

What makes me be is being used by God and in that I find the real source of happiness or better yet, joy. I would prefer joy over happines because happiness is a temporary state of being but joy can and should be a consistent place that one chooses to stay in.
i derive joy form sharing the love of Christ everywhere I go and I hope that what makes me "be', or what brings me both joy and happiness brings you the same or will one day soon, bring you the same.
