don't panic! maybe they are just friends
on the other hand maybe there is something going on between them. If ya'll are truly friends then shouldn't you be happy for them? I mean I know that this has something to do with your ex-girlfriend but ya'll had to break up because things weren't working out. Maybe things will work out better for them or perhaps she will realize what she is missing out on.
I know what it is like to date best friends. Things between them kind of faded. But in the end everything worked out and I realized that I still wanted both of them as friends. While we were dating we didn't completely leave the other person out it was just that it was wierd being around them.
Maybe you should just ask your friend what is up with everything. If he is your true friend he will tell you. Just make sure to tell him that you don't appreciate him hiding things from you and I am sure that the truth will come out.

Wow, this is tough, but it happens.
1. You could not do or say anything and live in lala land.
2. You could confront one or the other or both. Be prepared for the a. the truth- and you will have to be ready to move on
b. a lie- see 1 or see 2a
3. You could play Colombo and do some sneaking around. Never fun and creates suspicion and jealousy.
4. You could tell both you need a break and see where this takes you. This allows you to detach for a while and see what happens with them while you are removed from the equation.
good luck!

You should confront both your ex and best friend with the question whether or not they have a connection with one another. They should be able to tell you the truth and not have to hide anything. Let them know that its a question that you feel needs to be answered and that there are no consequences for telling the truth. Be prepared with the fact that they might be afraid to come out with the truth at first but they should be open with you if they truly are your friends.

Sounds like you are going to have an ex best friend. It would not be the first time a wife runs off with a best friend or vice versa. My adice is to let it go, if you are divorced you no longer have a say in this matter. He is not your best freind if he is dating your ex or she had a afair with him before the divorce. If he were your best friend he would not be dating your ex. That is a fact.

You need to find out if they are dating before you go overboard and end your friendship with the guy.
If you find out they are dating, that's not cool on his part, and I would leave him alone.
He's shady.

talk to your best friend about it. if he is truely your friend, he will tell you if you ask. if he lies, then he isn't a true friend and there is no use being friends if you can't trust each other. so just talk to your friend, and see what happens from there.
